Yes, a dremel and a hand saw. Since that picture, I've gotten the bottom of the core to sit flush with the body of the grip. The inside looks like shit but it should function fine. That being said, for roughly half an hours worth of work, I'm pretty happy with it.

Yeah, not sure this is a US guy, but if it is, very cool. First time I've seen a Kahles K16i on a service rifle. Regarded as the best LP variable out there right now. I have one sitting in my parts drawer but no good built to put it on. |

I doubt too many people would be allowed to run around any SE Asian country with that kind of rifle, but I am no expert. That thing does look badass with the Kahles 1-6 on there. I'm assuming it works well, too. |

After seeing all of the Kahles products in person at SHOT, they will likely be my go-to glass company for some time to come. the LSW on the 312 and 624 is undeniably the smartest feature in the entire glass game. |

I bought it for a 300 BO build and didn't like it (rather have a red dot for 300BO subs) and now it's just sitting around with nothing to throw it on. I keep thinking about building a 3-gun type config or proctor type config with it, but I just can't imagine me ever shooting it as much as I do my Mk 18 / Mk 12 combo which covers just about everything. |

I've had a Mepro TruDot RDS since they first came out. I am still on the original lithium battery I put in when I got it. So when I got the EXPS with the Block II, I couldn't use it due to my eyes...so I sold it and bought another Mepro. It has never let me down and it's clearer dot than my Aimpoint PRO was. Great sub $300 optic that takes AA battery with a great FOV and fantastic clarify as there is no tint on the glass. Worth checking out honestly. |

It could go either way on the color, but I wouldn't put it past if being black. There's been some odd ball configurations seen with Air Force guys. |

Are Eotech EXPS3-0's still good to go even with all the commotion about Eotech? I don't think SOCOM would use them if they weren't proven in adverse conditions. I can get one for $330 and it'd be the cheapest acceptable optic to put on my Daniel Defense M4A1 that's on the way. Excuse me if this is commonly discussed

Regarding Seen in the Wild magnified optics, which Larue Mount was it for the 1-8 and 2.5-10 optics? It's been a while since I've seen it. I feel like it was the LT104.

Well I decided to turn my block 1 into an FSP block 2. The new RIS will be here Monday. Now I just need to pick an optic, I'm considering putting the T1 from my current block 2 on there and getting a low power variable optic for the non FSP. So feel free to post your FSP rifles for inspiration
