How do you guys do reloads? Just curious. I can see the benefits to doing it muzzle up, but I'm no expert. I always like to learn what you shooters do. I suppose you might not be talking about reloads specifically, but that's how Kyle Defoor teaches a reload. You might be referring to high ready instead of low ready. Anyways.... |

You need to know both and when to use 'em. There are no absolutes in gun handling. If I have the option, muzzle up manipulations are much faster and easier, and they keep your eyes up/out. If a muzzle up manipulation points my muzzle at something I don't want to point it at, I point it somewhere else. LEARN HOW TO DO THINGS MORE THAN ONE WAY. Learn from more than one trainer. |

Would this one (with switch) be clone correct? --> http://www.surefire.com/m600aa-bk-scout-light.html Also, would the SureFire X300 (that also works on a pistol) be correct? |

Thanks for all the input. Kind of leaning toward the M300 with remote switch.
http://www.surefire.com/m300c-z68-mini-scout-light.html http://www.surefire.com/remote-tailcap-switch-assembly-for-scout-light.html I see there is tan option. Is that A-ok? or black a better option? Do they field the IR/white or white light only version? |

Navy and Marsoc train both port high and low. Depends on environment. Most times I'm port high with M4... I know it scares Army..
|
|
|
A bunch of Marsoc had issues with intermittent battery connection and battery life. They fixed the connection issue. I don't think the thermal issue was a deal breaker, and the reticle is hard to beat. They are switching to Elcans, Acogs, and Aimpoint Micros if possible. They also have instructions to rezero in theater. The issue only effects folks dropping into a different climate zone, which for some is a deal breaker but a non issue for most.

That is a little strange, I always wore a riggers belt because it is extra secure, last thing I want to worry about was my pants sagging down in a bad situation. He might be on a light duty mission without all his gear or he's just walking around his camp. Who knows. |

It's hanging from a tree. My guess is we'll never know. But also interesting is I'm not sure I see too many guys in just OD. O like the woodland and OD love. |

Most of the guys I know are running something on their belts, but the Crye Combats are highly adjustable so the you could get away with no belt. |
