What is a Bronze WMX200 worth anymore? Looking to get rid of mine but I never see any get sold so no clue what market price is. They used to be worth some big cash.

I would personally choose one that uses CR123s, not the AA model. We have seen plenty of the former in service; not sure where the military is on AA models, and they are too new for us to see any yet (taking into account that what we see in pics are not necessarily a representative sample of what is actually happening). I'm not a fan of the length of the AA models. We have certainly seen X300s in use, at least on CQBRs. I don't think anyone would fault you for one. Given your criteria, it's real hard to beat the Scout lights dollar for dollar, and they are legit across many cloney weapons systems (HK416, MK17, M4A1, etc.). I still love the WMX200 for clones, but they don't fit your criteria (readily available, $300 or less). ETA: this looks like an old 6P with a XM tailcap:

Decided to move the Leupold to the FSP build, I like it there better.
Need an X300 for the FSP, and waiting on a CQD front sling mount to finish it off.

Navy and Marsoc train both port high and low. Depends on environment. Most times I'm port high with M4... I know it scares Army..

A bunch of Marsoc had issues with intermittent battery connection and battery life. They fixed the connection issue. I don't think the thermal issue was a deal breaker, and the reticle is hard to beat. They are switching to Elcans, Acogs, and Aimpoint Micros if possible. They also have instructions to rezero in theater. The issue only effects folks dropping into a different climate zone, which for some is a deal breaker but a non issue for most.

Most of the guys I know are running something on their belts, but the Crye Combats are highly adjustable so the you could get away with no belt. |
