The raptor would definitely be the compromise there IMO, not only is it every bit as good as the BCM, we've also seen an arms room full of them installed on block 2 CQBR's courtesy of CD. Even with a solid pin instead of a roll pin in my GB, the BCM still feels way more robust when palm charging. I haven't tried a Raptor... but, ya know, if it comes in FDE... |

Just got my first Surefire weapon light. Wow, very nice! Almost got the Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 2, but the surefire is way more aesthetically pleasing. The poor M3X led is locked in the parts bin crying, wile in time out.

Thinking about giving Alumahyde MP FDE another shot on the brace and maybe oven cure it this time. Won't matter in about 6 months, hopefully. |

CLW doesn't list them as being specific to an Mk18/CQBR, but both of these would be accurate for an M4A1 lower with a CQBR upper (Colt cage code, M4A1 part#, serial of your choice): https://carolinalaserworks.ecwid.com/Colt-M4-M-16-0-75-UID-p87250208 https://carolinalaserworks.ecwid.com/Custom-UID-tag-for-M-4-Carbine-1-5-x-5-p82703152 I got one of each with the Colt cage, M4A1 part# and my serial. Decided to use the .75 this time around instead of the 1.5x.5 because of this guy: Chad will print pretty much anything custom that will fit on one of those tags, so if you want something not listed shoot him an email. He also has 1" square versions, which I take it are the newest tags used by... someone. I don't know for sure on those. I haven't seen any CQBRs with the 1" plate yet and kinda prefer the look of either the .75 or 1.5x.5 anyway, so I passed on the 1". |

Hrm. Well, that makes me a little less keen to run right out and get a Raptor-SD. Suppose I might still pick one up if I come across a good price, but it sounds like I might be better off sticking with my GB for now.

As discussed a few pages back I got my cqbr out today and put some of the cheap wolf gold I scored through it. Ammo is g2g with a .07 port and h2 buffer without a can.
on another note I couldn't get the gun to shoot for shit at 100 yards with the elcan so I am back to the 553. The elcan is great on the scar 16 however, I can easily put 5 rounds of m193 into an inch and half group with the elcan. |

Can someone give me a recommendation for a good smaller hard case for my MK18, Glock, and a few mags of each?
Have a 42” Plano...looking for something smaller like I’ve seen in this thread before. Don’t mind having to disassemble and have Upper and Lower separate in the case. |

I got some labels from CLW as well and have to testify that they are top notch. Not only can you get whatever serial number but he'll even print out a custom matrix as well. I got one with my trust info on it and it will actually scan(it's not the whole Trust obviously but the name, address, phone number and some other stuff). I just thought I should throw in my experience with CLW.

Just finished 930+ pages. Y'all have some serious issues...that said, Brownells has this URG...
Don't know if I'll jump in the CQBR clone club as I've got a Mk13 Mod 5 and M110k clone that were spendy enough. IF I did, the problem is that I would want an Elcan and NV. Two things I just can't see getting. Until I do something stupid, I'll live through you guys. Tiny, were do you live? I'm in Salem but get over to Bend now and then which is what your SO looks like, Central Oregon anyway. |
