Just put another dimple in it. I did it on mine. Easy fix.

Yes, you have a low profile gas block and not a Mk12 gas block.

Nobody said it won't.

A barrel from a URG-I clone with Mk12 gas block won't fit under a RIS II.

It doesn't appear that there is any fascination about it. Maybe I missed something. Is there a problem otherwise it's not a "clone" which I stated blatantly?

Looking back through, there was not one comment about it.

Thank you sir.  I have changed the configuration a good bit since this pic.  I figured I'd get reamed for posting a URGI with a BE Meyers 249F/SiCo ASR flash hider, but I actually shoot my rifles and have a sico can, but no Surefire can.

Left is a Russian Ishevsk Type 2 receiver dated 1954 and arsenal refinished sometime in the 70s.  Inserted is a early flat AK mag (slight dent in side wall).  Other is a Czechoslovakian vz58 dated 1980 with folding stock.  Both select fire of course.

Needs a trigger pack but other wise complete. Newer barrel with a 1:7 twist.  Pistol is a Hungarian FEG PP copy in 7.65mm.  Rifle is a Russian 1891 Dragoon made by Ishevsk in 1921.  Barrel is shot out on this one (keyholes at 15m).  12ga pistol above AK is a locally made gun.

Those are 13.5 Mk16s.   As before, no bendy rails?

Also, any way you can look to see if the rail appears to have suffered any contact from the gas block?

I zeroed that scope over a year ago and it hasn't been touched or re zeroed yet, even after getting ran over by a ATV. I have to say I am pretty happy with it.

Not sure if you saw earlier in the thread. The issued ones have a low profile DD gas block, not a DD Mk12 gas block or Geissele gas block which come on the commercial URGs (and they are bigger).

Yes. That's what I was referring to. The real URGIs have the pinned DD low pro gas block, that doesn't come near the bottom of the rail at all right?

If we didn't have CD, we would still be wondering
