Anyone have a line on correct upper receivers? Finally got the rail. Listings for Colt bolts or BCGs would be appreciated too.

The S&B is definitely a tighter group but I'm super impressed with the AAC for the price point. Usually on sale for $11 a box and it's still pretty darn accurate. ETA: I'm assuming 100yd? |

Next time it comes in, going to order some of it to try out. I do have some Black Hills 77gr Blue and Red box also. Just forgot to bring them this time. Once I find a good load for this rifle, I will stock up about 500 rounds for it. |

Went and picked my Allen Engineering aem5 today.. took 10 days for my approval which was 5 days longer than last one.
I think all I have left is to get a bore guide.. Boy does my aem5 take a lot of rotations to thread on. I think I'm at 9 1/4 turns. Attached File Attached File |

Just went to sight in at 100 yards for my prairie dog loads and the mirage was crazy after a few shots.
It's currently 81 degrees where I'm at. How are you guys mitigating that? |

I ordered rings, TRC and a TRR back in Feb. The rings came in right away, cap was a few weeks later and I just got the rail a couple days ago. I wasn't in any hurry, so that may not work for you. |

I don’t mind 1/2-1” of suppressor hanging out the end, but there’s no friction fit in the world that will keep a can cover in place under recoil unless it can ‘hang up’ on the backside of the can. |

I got my ARMS 40 from RRA - they show them as in stock still. |

The website said they were out-of-stock and that they could be backordered and payment would not process until they returned to stock. My order was not processed as a backorder, my credit card was charged immediately. In any case, I contacted them and they said they would reverse the charge until they came back in inventory; problem solved. I also got my ARMS #40 from RRA, then a week later I found a wingless one. |

Weird, I tried to backorder them and they charged my credit card immediately despite their note saying your credit card wouldn't be charged until they were ready for shipping. I didn't pay attention if they charged me at the time for the rings and cap. I do know they didn't charge me for the rail since it had been more than 4 months. I had to either call them and give them my card or place a new order and they'd just fill that one. |

Originally Posted By Blanco_Diablo: Just to make sure I'm not losing my mind...I know the long collar is the one correct for the Mod0, right?? View Quote The collar is correct, but your front sight is not. The collar is likely stopping on the sight and not the shoulder/step on the barrel. Add a crush washer and you should be good or switch to a short collar. ETA - 4-5 turns is what most of the real MK12s got. It's all mine gets and is one of the real ones. |
