Anyone have a line on correct upper receivers? Finally got the rail. Listings for Colt bolts or BCGs would be appreciated too.

No one will see the stamps on the bolt and BCG when it's in the upper.

@RedFox1911  sent you an IM

Which upper do you seek Red??

Pic thread/ old pics as I sit waiting for inspiration on the repaint!  Right now my Mod 1 and NSW have the glorious base coat of Field Drab and I have all the other colors onsite now but haven't had the time nor the energy to lay the spray and be done with it this go round..........................

I think C marked with Keyhole forge but open to other correct ones.  Just not the cage code marked.

Took out the Mk12 again today, did a deep clean a few weeks ago. So wanted to test some ammo again. Looks like I need to stock up on S&B 77gr for this rifle.

.223/5.56 tested:
AAC 77gr OTM
Stand 1 Armory 77gr TMK
Hornady Black
S&B 77gr
BlackArc 77gr (I forgot what one, not their new NAS3 262 ALPHA)
AAC Sabre 75gr
PMC X-Tac Match 77gr

That is awesome, thank you for showing that! The S&B is definitely a tighter group but I'm super impressed with the AAC for the price point. Usually on sale for $11 a box and it's still pretty darn accurate.

ETA: I'm assuming 100yd?

Yeah still impressive for about half the CPR. I still want to try some of the AAC SMK stuff. Next time it comes in, going to order some of it to try out.

I do have some Black Hills 77gr Blue and Red box also. Just forgot to bring them this time.

Once I find a good load for this rifle, I will stock up about 500 rounds for it.

That stand 1 was moving! Shame it wasn't that accurate.

That S&B was amazing.

Went and picked my Allen Engineering aem5 today.. took 10 days for my approval which was 5 days longer than last one.
I think all I have left is to get a bore guide.. Boy does my aem5 take a lot of rotations to thread on. I think I'm at 9 1/4 turns.

Bison Armory barrel... shoots 77gr SMK's well. I'm sure it won't do this all the time, but initial range results are promising.

Five rounds 77gr SMK hand loads...

Three rounds 55gr ball...

#22 TRR in stock at A.R.M.S, they use flat rate shipping that costs about as much as it though so I'd recommend buying something else to get the best value out of it.

You can backorder at Mounting Solutions Plus. I ordered rings, TRC and a TRR back in Feb. The rings came in right away, cap was a few weeks later and I just got the rail a couple days ago. I wasn't in any hurry, so that may not work for you.

I put this in the AE thread, but is this built so you could crank down on the contained line so it would cinch down to a smaller diameter than the OD of the can so it doesn’t walk forward during recoil?

I don’t mind 1/2-1” of suppressor hanging out the end, but there’s no friction fit in the world that will keep a can cover in place under recoil unless it can ‘hang up’ on the backside of the can.

I know they do have a batch planned, but they don't give exact dates for when they release parts. I know the next batch should be rear iron sights in the next 1-2 months or so, TRCs could hopefully come by the end of the year if we're lucky

Just because they have them listed, doesn't mean they are in stock. They are notorious for that. Good thing is you can backorder and your CC doesn't get charged until they actually have them. Charge will get posted as pending on your statement, but then drop off.

I got my ARMS 40 from RRA - they show them as in stock still.

You misunderstood my post.  The website said they were out-of-stock and that they could be backordered and payment would not process until they returned to stock.  My order was not processed as a backorder, my credit card was charged immediately.  In any case, I contacted them and they said they would reverse the charge until they came back in inventory; problem solved.

I also got my ARMS #40 from RRA, then a week later I found a wingless one.

I didn't pay attention if they charged me at the time for the rings and cap. I do know they didn't charge me for the rail since it had been more than 4 months. I had to either call them and give them my card or place a new order and they'd just fill that one.

Hopefully I don’t lose too many points for the cs stock and swfa. Just got my pri upper dropped on a h&r lower. If it shoots as well as I hope maybe I’ll be tempted to steal the nxs off of my 7rem mag. Also trying to work up the courage for paint. My ocm5 should also be getting to my dealer tomorrow so begin that countdown!

Buy a TRR, or be halfway to a new production PRI upper.

4 turns is really questionable, especially on a fresh new can where that bitch will rattle loose until it's carboned up.

Yeah just tried again to be sure and it's right between 4, maybe 4.5 turns. This is what my brake is looking like currently.

Yes, but it's pretty normal for the collar to rest on the fsb before it hits the shoulder.. if it's sitting on the fsb, trim it.  If it's not, shim the brake
