After 2 years of lurking you should know what's considered clone correct, especially in this thread. Nice rifle though.

Why not just show it? I mean, if it's legal, what's the problem? You know you want to since you keep talking about it.

Thanks! I have a RC on the way, then I plan to get the correct BUIS. Once that is done I am going to focus on a PVS14 and ATPIAL-C.

So I know this isn't 100% clone specific, but somewhere along the way in this thread we discussed the MK18 FSP RIS II vs the 9.5 Lite Rail FSP...  And since the FSP MK18 RIS II is clone specific I figured I would share...  I just slapped on a 9.5 FSP lite rail and I am very pleased with it.  It's slightly longer than the cut down version of the MK18 RIS II FSP that Louis did for me, and obviously with different dimensions.  Overall I think it's a great rail and a good alternative to the RIS II if you're looking for a FF FSP rail with some extra real estate.  I'm very pleased with it.  Again, I know the Lite Rail isn't clone correct, but I figured some folks in here would be interested in a simple alternative to the MK18 FSP RIS II.

Both barrels are 10.5 (for now on the top one...).  I plan on building another upper or two with the Lite Rail.

It's decent, it just took three times longer than I was quoted if I recall correctly.  They'll refinish it for you while it's in if you'd like, which I thought was pretty cool.  Sorry about the bad juju... and sorry you had to go back and find that post haha.

New page... At least one clone relevant gun - maybe two.

Those buttons looked like shit, pre Rev F Eotech style. Need two separate buttons, or IDEALLY a fucking rheostat like the T1/T2 but maybe with infinite brightness adjustment instead of levels and a power button on the top of the rheostat.

Didn't they recently, or at least somewhat recently change ownership and location? Maybe that was part of it. Like I said, wasn't awful, but by no means was it good.

I just can't believe they didn't lose it! I have an armorer's wrench that shipped about 4 months ago and was never seen again, my big box of mk12 parts I traded for were MIA for like 3 weeks no tracking updates. They lost half my outgoing shit including an envelope going to Nick G.

But apparently they respect my 4 position authoritwah.

Thank you again brother

Think spectre knob
Yeah, that would work. But I'd like a power button on the knob. That way you can turn it on to the last brightness level it was used. And maybe have to pull the knob up to adjust the brightness of the reticle. Anything but the first gen Eotech/Bushnell Holosight "buttons" like the pictures from Shot Show.

AAC fixed a BCG that broke for me a couple years ago. Like a week or so it was away from me. It was after freedom bought them, but it was still when most of their regular employees worked their. Good luck with the latch.

Gross. I go in that thread and see shitty handguards with penii on it and what not. Plus mine's not a DD MK18 upper either

At least I've got a quad rail still I wanted a 10.5 with FSB but it didn't work out

I'm a big fan even if it's not a something that would generally be seen in here.

Got to have a CQBR with a SF and NT4 at the same time.

Nothing beats that.

Looking to join the  0.07" master race.  Need some help on a couple unanswered questions after searching through 1300+ pages of awesome.

1. Does the Specialized Armament (SAW) 10.3" colt barrel have a 0.07" gas port (SAW Product ID: MK18BA) ?

2. Do the Colt factory 10.3" barrels have a 0.07" gas port? As found at G&R tactical (out of stock)

3. If buying an M18 upper receiver from Specialized Armament (SAW) is it possible to forgo the "reliability upgrades" (Product ID: URG051)?  I am assuming that the upgrades involve changing the gas system, polishing, extractor upgrades, etc., but I would like to have a clone correct MK18 without tweaks.  Same question applies for the MK18 full gun from SAW.

1.) Yes.

2.) Yes.

3.) I don't know if it includes gas port. It might just be the gas rings stuff.

Option 4: Buy a Colt Gov 14.5" and have ADCO chop it. All the 10.3" are chopped 14.5" barrels anyways. Technically that would be a pretty correct route, just not having Crane do the work.
