I just love seeing this diversity of cantilever scope mounts on these rifles.
My favorite is the Nightforce UniMount, or for QD the Larue Tactical. I got so disillusioned with the ARMS 22s that I transitioned to either LT QD rings or the ARMS #35 base & Track Mount Rings/Cap for a SPR type look. |

I was thinking it was probably easier to mount the scope in the giessellle. So I get ya there. I like not having a tool to take it off. Although I do keep it tight enough that sometimes I use screwdriver to pry at the levers.... LOL.

The G mount is fantastic but it totally kills the "classic" look on my rifle. I know, I know...nothing like using aesthetics as a optic mount factor.
