What is everyone using for a gas block? I can only find the badger ordinance in stock. I’m thinking of picking up the badger since thoroughbred has it in stock and I’m getting my barrel from them.

Well I’m going to go ahead and efile form 1 my colt lower.
I know it’s probably been posted a few times but I can’t find it. What’s the correct overall length for the form 1 for a 10.3” barrel and SOPMOD stock? I appreciate any help |

So by my understanding I’ll be an emailed a CLEO copy of my ATF 5320.1 which I mail to my sheriff and a cover letter for my 2x FD-258 fingerprint cards which I mail to the ATF at Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives National Firearms Act Division 244 Needy Road Martinsburg, WV 25405 Correct? I live right by the sheriff’s department so all of this should be pretty easy. Then on the FD-258 fingerprint card for “reason fingerprinted” just “ATF Form 1”? |

Ended up caving and grabbed as surefire Sb from AU. The discount certainly helps the cost of the $200 stamp and ffl transfer fee, under $1k out the door. Next up is a taupe nt4 in 4-6 weeks when presample gets them back in stock. 1500 for the nt4 is almost offensive.
I know it’s not clone correct but the price cannot be beat for the Sb’s |

But I'm willing to bet FN is helping Colt fill receiver contracts by making them. Colt has been contracting out a lot of work as of late, bolt carriers and receivers etc |

I apologize in advance.

I’m not familiar with SF muzzle devices but it’s possibly a SF product made for FN on their specs and shipped to them. FN then as contractor do the final packaging.
Just like colt.. you get a colt replacement part like a HG or a stock: the package has the Colt cage code even if it’s an outsourced part. Originally Posted By Combat_Diver:

Apologies if this is a dumb question. The clone bug bit bad and I currently have a Mod 0, Mod 1 and SR16 in progress

How are you guys zeroing your MK18s? I’d like a good BZO, I saw something about a 50m zero, seems pretty decent. I also to zero my TA33 at 100m and just see how it does out to 5 or 600m (not expecting too much, lol).

Finally swapped the a1 grip for an ergo on the block ii. Plus I went ahead and threw the afg on the gg&g build. May switch to the b5 angled hand stop.

Got in my M600DF and SR07 today, and I have to say... while I still love my little M300s, this thing is pretty frickin' awesome :D. It's like having a little miniature sun strapped to your rail, lol.
I'd been leaning toward just going with another M300C, but this popped up at a good price and I decided what the hell - might as well try it. Glad I did. |

I am trying to time my four prong on a DD barrel. To get it timed properly I am using the orange washer that you start with. I had to add 1 green 2 red and 3 no color.
Seems like a lot, so I’m I good to go or did I do something wrong? My three prong only used the orange washer and 3 no color shim Also if I use no shim only the orange washer I would have to go much past 30 to get it timed exactly. Thinking 50-60 range. |

View Quote One other thing to keep in mind is that adding Rocksett will up the torque required by a few pounds and you need to account for that (i.e.: if you're perfectly timed right at 30lbs and then add Rocksett, it'll require more than 30lbs). ETA: Your best bet is to time at around 20-25lbs, so that you end up below max torque once you apply Rocksett. |
