10in MK4 Rail. I was going to stash it away as a "collector" item but well, that would be a waste of an awesome rail!

Now that is sexy.

Amazing how the DDC color varies so much from FDE to a darker color.

How does the painting work, if you don’t mind me asking? If it’s relevant to your unit/mission, etc it’s permitted? Thanks

Step 1 find paint and strip gun of oils (Isopropyl alcohol)
Step 2 base coat of light color
Step 3 use mesh to paint second color
Step 4 use paint thinner/mineral spirits to remove if need
Note: Army ok for SF back around 97' to paint guns as long as we remove it when turning gun back in to mother Army

Haha, I’m familiar with the application process was just curious about being permitted to modify your duty/issued rifle. Thanks again, I always enjoy your posts.

Its more restrictive for conventional forces. But if you take a peek at his username and avatar, you'll see his forces aren't conventional.

What can you going with? Not sure who's brake that is but I think a Surefire mini in FDE would look badass on it. Id recommend the RC but it may end up looking like an M777 if you went that route.

You are 98% correct.  But I saw a Bn from 10th Mountain with most of their M4s painted.  I was surprised too.

Right. Some units do get to. Most don’t. Hence “more restrictive”
