Here's a comparison shot of two A3 stocks. The top picture shows the A3 F stock and the bottom picture shows the (Gen 1) A3 stock. As you can see, the A3 F stock is about an inch longer but what it gives up in compactness it makes up for in added comfort and stability/less wobble.

I forget where I got it from –– the vendor posted an ad on HKPro.com's classifieds –– but it was around $35. It holds 5 30-round curved mags or 2 sets of coupled mags (4 mags). The back has some clips so you can easily attach it to molle webbing or a belt. It also comes with shoulder straps in case you prefer to carry it that way. |

She's a brute from a bygone era, but she shoots smooth and true with plain old iron sights. I went ahead and removed the port buffer b/c someone had installed it incorrectly and I managed to do it without any serious finish damage. There's a lot you can do with these rifles, but I think I will keep her as-is. |

After 5 long months of waiting my Gemtech Multimount suppressor finally arrived! It went pending on July 21 and the stamp arrived on Friday. I picked it up Saturday morning along with a couple of boxes of Sellier & Bellot subsonic ammo.
I also got a notice in the mail on Friday that I had a registered package on hold at the post office –– my MKE MP5-K was back! I had sent it to S&H Arms in Oklahoma to have a 3-lug barrel extension added so I can mount the suppressor. 
Finally, here is the MP5-K and the full-size MP5 with the Gemtech Multimount with the 3-lug adapter. 
Next on the wish list: Sig Sauer P229 threaded barrel and the Gemtech LID adapter so I can mount it on the pistol. |
