My drill sergeant had done three tours as combat arms, had a scar down the length of his face, and was no-shit bi-polar. That's how they are supposed to be.

which barrel and top cover are you running in the Pig?
and how do you like your Ares Shrike so far? I'm running the standard top cover and barrel on the pig. I keep trying to justify spending the $7K to upgrade to E4. While the E4 is cool as hell I'm not sure if it's $7K more fun? I chopped up a night vision site bracket to mount an optic on the topcover. The Shrike is running fairly well. It does occasionally fail to feed by jamming the bullet into a small lip between the juncture of the barrel and receiver. As soon as I get time I'm going to dremel the rear of the barrel to remove the area where it's jamming. Hopefully that will solve the issue. Are you running a Shrike? Thank to all for the kind words. |

It's a British PIAT - Projector Infantry Anti-Tank. It's not demilled as they're considered a regular firearm and not a DD. There's no way to fire them as the rounds are essentially unavailable.
Some of the best deals I've gotten have been while volunteering at group displays during gun shows. We put on an NFA display so occasionally people will come up trying to find a buyer for things. That was one of them. A guy walked up and said he had some weird rocket launcher that his Dad left him and he wanted $300 for it. I really have no use for it but for $300 it was worth hanging on the wall. Thanks for the interest. |

Where'd you get that storage locker? I've been looking for something similar, but usually can only find the small school style lockers. |

Another pic I forgot to post. http://i1185.photobucket.com/albums/z344/jan231855/Picture017.jpg Thanks for the comments. It was nice to finally build out a gun room after years of getting stuck in the corner of the basement. The only thing that I regret is using laminate flooring. I never realized how much heavy stuff I end up dropping on the floor. The laminate just can't take that kind of abuse. I'm also trying to figure out what I do on the countertops. My wife volunteered to tile them but I might go with something less damage prone. Nice Maxim ! |
