Series 70 type system as well. Added a threaded barrel from another manufacturer and it still works pretty well, just quieter with that other thing that goes on the end. ![]() |

I spent 35 dollars once on a new extractor due to the factory one being bummed. 1/8 isn't so bad Springfield TRP was 100% out of the box until this day. Still no issues. |

If you're comparing 5.56 supers to .300 subs, then no. .300 has other benefits, like being able to run subs and supers without having to change anything out. And that you can actually get a heavy bullet in there that still feeds from the magazine, something that 5.56 was never intended to do. |

It's basically a .22 at that point. ![]() 300BLK's advantage is that it will cycle in the same gun as supersonic rounds will, it fires .308 subs without the wasted case capacity or action length, it feeds from a standard AR15 magazine, and it reaches velocity in a very short barrel. It's not quieter than smaller bore subsonics, but that's not the purpose of the round. It's simply quiet enough. |

Not trying to be a dick here (sometimes it just happens naturally) but what experiences do you have with pistol suppressors? A wet 45 can will suppress nicely but it is by no means a 9mm setup. I'm only talking about suppression, not about ballistics. |
