Nice to see Mize chop up Ohtani twice so far this game. Hope Ohtani doesn't get into a slump like Miggy for the HR derby.
Miggy has been in a slump since 2012. EDIT: Page 104 Ownage. lol |

Stros sweep the chisox, and with the yankmes beating the A's on a triple play, puts Houston back in first in the division. If the Bosox lose, and they're down 7-3 in the 8th in KC, then Houston will be in first in the AL

Fun Fact: Since May 21st the Yankees have more triple plays than the Diamondbacks have wins.
Also, considering the Rockies play great when they're at Coors(.625 winning pct at home, .156 away from home), i'll take a split. |

Hey Spent,
Here's an NBC story about those hidious New Era Local Market Caps I was telling you about. https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/nationals/new-era-releases-local-market-series-mlb-caps-fall-flat-among-fans And that NES game I couldn't come up with was Baseball Stars. |

The record is 26 loses in a row by the 1889 Louisville Colonels. The longest since the Dead Ball era ended is21 by the 1988 O's. The DBags are currently at 17. Will we see another record fall this year? |

But glad we got closure on both issues. |

Went to my first game at the new rangers ballpark.
While I greatly enjoyed not roasting in the sun, I have to say…. Indoors baseball is weird. This is the first time I’ve ever attended a game in a covered stadium. |

It was weird every game I was at back in 2007 when I had season tickets. The one way escalators, based on if it was during the beginning of the game or the end, to the third tier were weird too. |

Secondly, while I'm sure you enjoyed not roasting in the sun, playing baseball indoors is just Jr. High Gym all over again. It's wrong, like getting tongue from your grandmother wrong. It's heresy, plain and simple. Oh sure, some people in this thread are willing to say "domes are okay" or "batflipping is okay" or "ketchup on hot dogs is okay" but those "people" are allowed to continue to live simply because it is illegal for me to kill them and I'm too lazy to make the effort to cover up my crimes, as just as they may be before Abner Doubleday, PBUH, because the laws of men are flawed. |

There's going to need to be some kind of an appeal process since there is an automatic suspension attached. And if an ump tosses someone for being sticky and there is nothing to it except an ump being on a power trip, it will end up on the league president's desk or even with Manfred. |

Correa almost was thrown out at his first at bat when the Orioles pitcher throw a ball below the knees and he call that a strike for the strike out. |

Kelly did throw a good game against the Brewers last night. Did Yelich hurt him self during one of his multiple strike outs last night? He left the game after the 6th.
