They do understand a motive.
The home in the neighborhood IS occupied, refusing to let people in. (Maybe the camera person from shooter's AK shooting video....) |

so much for "these things dont happen here". Maybe my work will smarten up, they wont run a active shooter drill because they just dont want to think about it. Never mind the plant has been shot at several times from what I understand. speed View Quote Carry something 24/7 is the only answer. No one's going to save you besides you and no active shooter plan ever devised by anyone with a lawyer will ever start with "flank the shooter and return fire". so they're pretty much useless. Gun free zones in Kansas are rapidly becoming extinct with the exception of schools and government buildings (they lose gun free status in 2017). As it stands those signs on private businesses are just an expression of the owners preference and are not legally binding. When they were "binding" it was a misdemeanor trespass offense if you were somehow caught and refused to leave. Shooting him down after he got one round off would be preferable but shit heads like this traditionally go to cover, eat a gun or run away at the first sign of resistance so even if all you have is a pocket .380 you have a very good chance of stopping the spree simply by disrupting his plan if nothing else. |

I wonder if he saw the story on the Uber driver and then when something pissed him off he turned into a semi copycat.

Did he just say they had a call from the white house???
Edit: I guess so. |

It's probably killing CNN that they have to show debate instead of cover the shooting. |

Single officer went in SOLO, took at the shooter single handed while under fire.
Fucking bad ass. |

At least he's dead.
Will be interesting to see where he got his guns, since he's a felon with a DV conviction. |

Just posted a response for this thread in the debate thread by accident.
Media going nuts when seeing him shooting the "high powered long gun" in a cornfield in Kansas. |

A lot of people where asking what set this guy off. I've seen a lot of cases of PCP popping up in the hospital, and the old standby meth and/or cocaine. Pure speculation of course, but the types of psychosis these substance induce is amazing. This guy very well may have had a low psychotic threshold anyway.
This just speaks to me as a very clear example of how gun free zones will never work, and any more infringing gun laws won't work, and that concealed carry is so important. And it sounds like lone ranger Hesston PD earned his title of Hero tonight. Laws are only in place to punish after an event has happened. It can't prevent. Logic and good judgement are required to follow laws, and these things don't exist in our society in large amounts, and psychotic inducing drugs sure don't help either. |

The guy being interviewed is making the perfect case as to why gun free zones are death zones.
He was there for a job interview when the shooting started. |

This guy was from Florida and recently moved to Kansas. Please Pray for the families that lost loved ones to this monster. Also please don't blame this on Kansans.
He just posted a pic on the 21st says that he is ready for a car show Feb 26th and 27th with a massive $600 car amp in the trunk of his car. Sounds like something went South today at the Job and this convicted Felon not law abiding citizen went nuts..... |
|
Dude he (guy who was just interviewed) totally shut down reporter lady when she brought up "assault rifle", interrupted her and interjected correct terminology. Who is this guy? I'd love to hire him!

On his Facebook page there is also a video of him shooting his semi auto ak sporter in a Field possibly 4 months ago.

LOL. Reporter saying that if it were not for the officer (good guy with a gun) there would have been more people killed. Gun free zones are a bitch.
