One request, Not sure the shop teacher will like it...
Red (or blue) velvet behind letter edges to fill out the area where extra wood around the router marks so they're hidden, sort of like a mat around a portrait, just an accent to keep subject up front and hide the support infrastructure (similar to dazzling with detail so a single thing can't be nitpicked). It's fine to have it on left and right only as well, maybe 1/16" peeking from top/bottom, I dunno, you're the art teacher. Sorry for disinfo on Red light, the whit flashes, red stays on. My Bad, learn something new everyday, I don't know much about these machines that beat physics into compliance rather then gently apply shapes and beauty to glide through air. I've only seen the white flashing strobe at a distance of the Life Flights that continually fly over my house. |

Did you assemble and hang the copter with a student still inside?
Principal invited Obama to speak at the dedication, and he accepted? |

The tint is a compromise. We didn't want people looking up into the quarter windows and seeing the unfinished cockpit and pilots with such detail. It's see through enough that you can still see in, especially with light coming down from above, but not enough to take away from the experience. It's not ideal, but necessary. The tint itself looks great and matches. Usually it wraps around the bottom so they can see down when landing or hooking. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Do the rivet lines shift by 3/4" on that side too? View Quote We checked did check the bottom of the windows Somehow we got the bottom corners lined up correctly. When we went to install the windows we had them trimmed down with the Dremel cutting wheel. I asked the student about that, because they should have been the same, but low and behold, the one window required about 3/4" more trimmed off. It's funny how we missed so many hints along the way that there was a problem. Kind of like the fuselage length. The signs were there, but ignored until, it just couldn't be any longer. |

Now, one of the side windows, we might. We went to put it on this afternoon, and it wasnt as good as the other. We worked it over a bit but feel we still might salvage it on Monday with more shaping. |

New video of motion activation. Lights in the White House come on for 30 sec, and the lightning flashes randomly, then pauses for 10 seconds to reset.
LoL.... youtube keeps deleting the video. Looks like I'll have to make a new video. Failed To Load Title |

Between the windows, get some mini MDF trim in black. T-shaped curve to make the windows blend together like the real thing, or on a car, etc.
Along these lines, didn't look long for proper name:

I'll check the hardware store. Not sure what size we need yet, probably about an inch wide for most of it. At the top we will be adding a larger, probably 2" border. |
