You really need to anchor those sex slings more securely, OP.
If you don't you're not going to have a good time. Seriously, good luck with your recovery. |

BTDT 30 years ago but a horse threw me into a fence at high speed. Prepare to be on crutches for months after the surgery.
Oh and now my right hip is a barometer; I know the day before a storm arrives just how bad it's going to be by how much it aches. |

Hope you have a full and speedy recovery OP.
Do the PT. Give it everything you got mentally and as much as they let you physically. It will make it so much better when treatment is complete. |

They haven't given you the good pain meds?
Hope you have a speedy recovery. |

Hope you heel up well.
One of my best friends broke his hip two years ago. Shattered that fucker. He fell off the utility body on his truck, pretty much seven feet to pavement and landed right on his hip. Phone was in the cab of his truck, door shut, and he was by himself. Had to drag himself up and open the door and call an ambulance. Anyways, he had surgery and a rough couple month recovery but he’s pretty much fine now. Just wanted to let you know while it might be a rough road for a couple months you’ll get past it. Godspeed |

Fentanyl to get me out of the shower. Lower tab? (SP) and a little shot of morphine so far. I’m still sober as a judge and feel everything.

About 9 years ago I rescued an old guy from a dry ditch he'd fallen into while rolling out his garbage bin.
He was a Para trouper that had dropped in behind Normandy and caught shrapnel soon thereafter so missed the fight across France. Anyhoo, I got the old guy up on his feet and he limped back to his front door and up the steps and inside to call his daughter. He'd broken his hip, and never made it back out of the hospital. I went to his funeral. |

How big of a guy are you? For instance if you were on Match.com would you describe yourself as “curvy”?

You got off easy. I crashed on my dirt bike and broke my left hip in the middle of eastern Utah and had to ride out 20 miles. Took me 4 hours

Everybody knows if you're jacking it in the shower you're supposed to have a shampoo bottle shoved up your butt. For safety.

Sorry man.
At least you're in the broken hip capital of the world, those docs seen it before. |

"Broke my hip" is not definitive.
Did you 1. break the knob off your femur, 2. drive the knob through the socket in the pelvis, or 3. break that whole assembly off from the pelvis? Details OP, details. |

Damn near did the same thing last week, OP. I'm 28. I was laying out some cardboard floor protection on a concrete floor we had recently stained. Had two paths arranged at a 90 degree angle, and I rounded the corner a little too fast. My feet went up in the air, and I landed incredibly hard on my right hip/knee. I just knew I broke something. I began limping as the day went on but woke up the next morning with no soreness or bruising.

I had a hip replaced at 35 because of a break. It was about six weeks before I could walk without crutches. My surgery did not go as planned. It was a week before I could even get out of the hospital bed.
