If it looks bad they'll start moving troops toward the NK border to stop potential refugees. Anyone's guess as to if they make a play for to install a puppet regime. Or if they let it play out. Then use the same pressure to control the new leader as they did with fat boy. |

Fended off China-backed coup plotters (his uncle & brother) and purged his staff from Chinese assets, and began using the nuclear program to hedge against the machinations of China as well as the US, and has successfully improved relations with the US and South (again, I believe, as a hedge against China). That crappy little nation state now bargains directly with the two main world powers, and gets to work with a limp pro-communist administration in the South that is trying to drive out the US influence & promote unification; considering the mess he inherited from dad (state finances destroyed from the nuke program, Chinese running rough-shod over domestic affairs, rogue general/Party staff cabals) he's done better than all right. |
