I would really, really, really hate to be a member of the crew operating the Syrian SAM or Triple A system that brought down the Israeli F-16. Those guys are the walking dead. By the time the IDF is done with them, there won't be anything left but elbows and toenails.

Wow, I guess that report of the F-16 going down is true. Likely a two seater F-16I, usually reserved for strike missions. SA-5's aren't exactly made to intercept fighters, so I wonder what in Syria's arsenal took a shot.. |

So with that in mind, I do exactly what Assad is doing to keep myself from being Quaddafi or Saddam. It did work, and it was a better more stable region when it was Assad, Nasser, Quaddafi and Saddam than it is now. |
