Not "random" but yes I do think that the atoms here on earth came from exploding stars in ages past.
When I better theory comes along, I may adopt that. For me to believe in a magical being I would need to see it with my own eyes. |

God is real, no question in my mind.
but i've always been fascinated with physics, particularly spacetime and astro flavors. the mind melting part is what happened before the big bang. now, granted, the concept of "before..." implies time, which is relative. nevertheless, it seems likely to me that a prior universe like ours cooled and collapsed into the thing that went bang to expand and create ours. makes one wonder how many universes there have been. almost like we're in a simulation that keeps getting rebooted |

But very simply, yes. A natural explanation that is consistent with reality (to our best understanding) is a better explanation than, magic did it. |

We are just a few steps beyond them. A few years ago I googled the smartest people on earth, then I googled what religion they are. It was insightful. I'm ok without knowing and if a god is upset with that, I wouldn't worship him anyway. |

I have a rather devout friend who often says, "The God of my understanding is beyond my understanding."
If there is a… "watchmaker"… comprehension of his/her/its true nature would probably be beyond anything we’re capable of. It certainly isn’t going to be a dude with white hair and a beard, floating on a cloud. Who knows, whatever it is might not even be "divine," at least by its standards. Any technology sufficiently advanced is indistinguishable from magic. |
