Quoted: Whataburger is nasty and I don’t understand the cult following it has with fellow Texans. I do find it interesting how each Whataburger location has a 500lbs employee on premises at all times to sit on the burgers before serving them to customers. View Quote Nasty might be a bit aggressive, average to mediocre is more accurate to me. Downhill in the last 20 years, haven't eaten at one since the sellout. |

I tried them once. Big disappointment. I'd be fine if they never showed up around here. I'll stick to my In 'N Out.

It’s greasy garbage that is marginally better than the utter shite that passes for food at Five Guys.

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: The spicy ketchup is fap worthy It was the only reason to go there. And then they started selling it at Wal Mart. I don't believe the bottled stuff is the same as what's in the cups served at the restaurants. When their bottled ketchup first came out me & my kids did a taste comparison and we could tell a difference. It wasn't as good. |

They opened up a whataburger in spanish fort AL. in 2020 near the sams club.i was pumping gas at the sams and was like
"When did that open?" I've tried it twice--kinda like burger king but much better. There's all the fast food restos. On that road so i tried them all except taco bell--wouldn't risk explosive diarreah on that! It was good,i'd say better than all except freddy's steak burgers. To be honest, and i don't know why,but AL. has lousy food compared to all the states around it. Slidell LA had a great wendys-the 1 in spanish fort was meh. I'm from Quebec so we have good food here. I read that thread about ppl. have fast food nightmares--here in Canada you call corporate and the health dept. That shit don't fly here-they would be shut down pronto. |

Quoted: They just opened one near where I live, but I haven’t eaten there yet. However, I am in the DFW area right now and had a double cheeseburger from What a Burger yesterday. I ate half of it and threw the rest away. Fries were decent, but even the burger I had from Braum’s on the way down here a couple days ago was superior. This makes two times now that I’ve tried WB. They used to be consistent in their quality and from the locations I have been to were on par with DQ. However now both places are just okay with a big change in quality from one location to the next.
As one of my former coworkers said, “Hey, it’ll make a turd!” |

They opened one here years ago. It wasn’t very good and it didn’t last long. Several places tried to make it at that location after and failed. It’s now been a Hibachi Express for several years and does just fine.

Quality is super spotty. Some locations are still good.
Overall, its been in decline for years. I remember when it was consistently good. |

Double-Double Master Race checking in.
Tried Whataburger in AZ while in town for Spring Training. Reminded me of Sonic... |

Spartacus might eat you instead of that burger.
#5 checking in. Party melt is overrated but I would kill someone for a hatch chili burger. |

what kind of kids do you feed your breeds of peace?
also...Whataburger is pretty tasty. |

I love Whataburger when they are good and hate them when they are trash. It has to be the most inconsistent chain ever. If you get a good one a jalapeño cheese burger with crispy fries and a fresh lemon pie is probably the best fast food burger meal out there. Then three days later you get a smashed burger, limp cold fries, and a tough pie that has been under a heat lamp for half a day.
It makes no damned sense, but rolling the dice and hitting a win more often than not keeps my dumb ass going back. |

Quoted: Whataburger is horribly spotty. One location can be great while another is terrible. The one by me has been terrible for a long time so I haven't eaten there in a while. View Quote This. They're SUPER inconsistent. The one by my old office in Plano was outstanding. The one by my house is a shit show. They don't seem to have much control over the franchisees. They might desire it, but whatever they're doing to enforce it isn't working. |

Quoted: What-a-burger is Sonic with better sauces View Quote Even their spicy ketchup sucks compared to Heinz spicy jalapeno ketchup. I'd rather do Sonic than Whataburger. I'd rather do In N Out over Sonic. I'd rather do Five Guys over In N Out. I'd rather do Fatburger over Five Guys. I'd rather do Wendie's over Fatburger. And I'd rather do Culvers over Wendie's. I've never been to a Braun's or a White Castle, so no opinion on either. Yet. |

I have tried 3 different whataburgers and they all sucked ass. The sonic in town rules, and I miss me some in and out.

They're more of a north Texas/Oklahoma thing tho, I think. I think the southernmost Braums I remember seeing was in Temple maybe? Or even just north of that. |
