My favorite part of this episode was when Lyanna Mormount gave Dany the look of contempt. If Lyanna dies...imma finna riot.

I thought it was a decent episode. Not great not bad, the 2 of them riding dragons was a bit too much my wife said.. " Is this a Hallmark show?" The only thing I am really upset about is how they have so much to tie up but only 6 episodes, and they say they will be over a hour each to make up for it. Then Last night is only 50 minutes and there are still more questions. The next week is only 50 minutes also. so it's kind of a let down knowing that there are 5 left and there are too many story lines left. So that means shit will be rushed like last season and there will be no fining some storylines.

I mean they are melting and pouring weapons out of dragonglass in the first episode this year, which also makes no sense as glass resists attempts to make it sharp when poured. View Quote |

And they could have cast any design they wanted, but for some reason just made a mould of knapped points. View Quote You can approximate a blade in 'glass' but there will never be an edge until the crystalline plane is sheared. Knapping is the only way to make it sharp, there are no shortcuts. The most useful thing would be to take all the waste from knapping weapons directly and make smaller diamond-shaped pieces you could easily knap to arrowheads. But let's face it, hollywood loves pouring radiant 'whatever' into forms...it's hopeless. Also...love your forum name...no homo. |

I agree about the idiocy of the Disney-style joy ride. I gotta disagree about the strafing runs considering what happened the last time. View Quote This establishes that Jon can ride and COMMAND the dragon. Notice how the dragon was in control at the beginning. It was following dany tits.
Then Jon was able to turn the dragon and make it do what he wanted it to do. I do not know if Dany realized she just gave Jon her dragon...nor do I know if Jon realize he now commands that dragon. |

Book readers should already know who will kill Cersei. And it ain't Bronn. The show is beyond the books. Yes the series will end the same way as the books. But as to how each gets there remains a mystery until they are both finished. Just saw it. Seems like there is going to be tension like a mofo in Winterfell
When Jaime got off his horse and saw who was waiting for him |

I just saw episode this morning, and have only now got to where I can say this.
I think Jaime coming back north, alone & without his fighting ability will show how humbled he is. Remember his suicide charge at Daenerys, only for him to live by Bronn knocking him into the lake? I imagine a noble suicide mission, perhaps rigging a dragon glass dagger arm. I do think Jon will have to kill Daenary’s, she will go all “I am the queen” and Jon will look at Jaime’s tale of choosing love over duty as a warning. Tyrion, heartbroken over losing Jaime, will be the one to kill Cercei after all. I am curious who will get to wield Heartsbane in battle, as I know Sam can’t. |

My only smart theory is that Sam and Gendry figure out how to make valerian steel and it includes dragon glass and dragon fire View Quote |

This is almost certain, given the shows choice to give Gendry and Sam the time/access and opportunity to work together and with the materials and knowledge, and the recent episodes numerous references to both the dragon glass AND Valyrian steel currently inside wintertell. There are at least 3 pieces of Valyrian steel there between arya, Sam and Jon then you have wagons filled with dragon glass. View Quote |

I find it humorous that Bran is all knowing but sits outside forever waiting for Jaime instead of just going outside the exact time he arrives.
