“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?
Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” ? Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn , The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956 |

Quoted: Socialism is here. It’s over. It is now officially Govt.’s job to take care of people and enable them not to work. All this free money is going to take us into super inflation which I believe is happening right now. Prices are going through the roof, there is shit tons of hostility towards certain groups, coupled with massive number of riots and civil unrest by groups such as BLM. Hostility towards whites, conservatives and working class will drive this divide further. The gun control will take place this year. Courts are useless and compromised. Quoted: Except that's not how it's going to go down. It's funny, really....well -- ironic, actually... The left says communism will be different THIS TIME -- we will finally do it right!! The right says it will be different THIS TIME -- we will finally fight back!! Both parties are wrong. History is full of examples of failed communism and the failure of the people to fight back when the take over started. View Quote Can you name the times when people didn't fight back? I've honestly been trying to figure this out, but seems often totalitarian regimes were precipitated by civil wars and open conflict (I think). People fought, they just lost, including commies. To me America is a building powder keg. People say nothing will happen, yet it doesn't take much to get the ball rolling. Only takes one major political incident creating multiple deaths to change the entire landscape. One day you're saying "nothing will happen" and next you want it to stop. And ask yourself, would you support that person? Would a substantial part of the population support that person? We are headed toward our own doom, and America is over. The scars of violence and remorse will haunt the population, regardless of the victor, we all lose, because in order to prevail you must do unthinkable things and elect those who are willing to order unspeakable things on your enemy. And even though that strong man is on your side, the power willingly granted to him by you, will nonetheless be total and ruthless. |

Quoted: We’ve known it was done since the election was rigged. What do we do now, though? Renew euro passports if we have them. Continue to prep. Don’t pay off the mortgage. But what else? We’re not ready for civil war yet and we’re not even allowed to talk about it here. America’s dead. What now? View Quote American have terminal cancer and is waiting for a new wonder treatment...question is will the Drs. find one in time. Depending on what happens it could be 3 months to 18 months. I hope OP is wrong, but to be fair the things we need to do to prevent the Yugo outcome are also the things that will help make it the least-bad scenario if it does. The country is toast. Both republicans and democrats are in on the game. So-called republicans allowed the election to be stolen. They wanted Trump out because Trump was hurting their game.
The left will destroy the country, and will state that our current system has failed us. Judging from responses on Facebook and online forums, half the country will believe this lie. Bad times are ahead. Things have to get bad in order for people to accept what is in store: the dissolution of the United States of America. |

Quoted: @bugy Mind if I ask how you've gotten ready for hyperinflation? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Yes, the hyper-inflation will be jarring. I've been ready for it for a decade, but holy shit it's going to hit most people like a fucking train. Mind if I ask how you've gotten ready for hyperinflation? For me, it's the following basic ideas: Food Prep: You need to either have food and supplies stocked up or you need a Homestead where you can produce your own. You won't be able to buy supplies sometimes, so you need enough to make it through the disruptions (which will be limited in time, but they will freak everyone out). There will be shortages, and so the last thing you want is to be defending a cart full of groceries in the parking lot. Best to stay home with your family and not leave when things get bad. Debt: Another is to get rid of as much debt as possible. I know this one sounds counter-intuitive, but the fact is that you are likely to lose your job and also your income won't keep up with inflation even if you keep your job. So, if you have debt then you might lose your house during the inflation ramp. Location: Don't live in the middle of a city, but don't be too far away either. Again, this is counter-intuitive for most preppers, but you'll need to be able to get employment and being near a population center (but not in the middle of it) will give you access to employment without putting you and your family at immediate risk of riots. |

View Quote I honestly think few people actually watched the live streams. These people didn't do the "be like water" routine, they didn't hysterically cry from non-lethals, they didnt follow any of the antifa/blm tactics. They were pushing and actually fighting with fists, the police line. The police tried "get back" and the crowd rallied in opposition. It had a completely different aura, the people looked different, the yelling was different. It had a more personal feel to it than what antifa does. |

When he died, the hand was stilled and the leashes came off and they all began to fight over scraps. Here, it's not one man, it's a bunch of limp dicked cunts thinking they're smarter and better than the rest of us. Not to downplay the severity of the situation, but to be fair, world security and global economic stability was not tied to Yugoslavia.
The rest of the world has a vested interest in the US continuing to exist, and I highly doubt they would sit idly by and allow the US to collapse inwards without intervening. Which would possibly be the worst part of a collapse. |
