View Quote It's like I'll never get these two Civets I ordered. 1st my email w/ my FIL's FFL went to their spam folder, then UPS repeatedly tried to deliver em outside his business hours (he's a former B-36 mechanic), now the roads are iced over & neither he nor I can get to his shop for me to pick em up. I feel your pain. But it does give you more time to browse WalletRaper.com. |

I've seen them as low as $280 and as high as $700 for comparable condition. I must be missing something. |

Same here, I'm on the hunt for a clean 4" 686. The thing is, I was looking for a 686 when I found the 2.5" 66 and when I found the 10-6. I would have been money ahead to just hit buy now. |

My new 65-5 is a RB so I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the grips. I wanted the SB checkered VZs.
Trigger is great on it. Action is good too. Very happy for $450. |

@03RN
Well, I might be concerned about nothing, but I was one told that to test the hand you cock the gun very slowly or lie a finger on the side of the cylinder while cocking the hammer, then see if the cylinder moves rotationally, or touch the cylinder and see if you hear a click. If I cock the hammer slowly, I can touch the cylinder and hear the click of the cylinder stop popping into place. It doesn't happen if you cock the hammer quickly or if you pull the trigger but release it before the hammer falls, so I'm sure it'd be fine while actually shooting, but to me it seems like the hand is showing early signs of excessive wear? Think I'm on the right track? |

Also could be a gummed up cylinder stop or worn cylinder stop spring |
