Quoted: Does anyone here actually give a shit? View Quote I do, but I build cars for a living and enjoy watching others follow their automotive passions. For those that say he's hard on his stuff, you've never raced or driven anything to the limit. Shit happens and when it does it can get spendy when you need it right now. |

Engine must have been built back better.....
If Build Back Better were an engine... |

Quoted: Having been on the starting line for all sorts of stuff, these drag and drive events are just slightly above your "street car run what you brung" events as far as preparedness goes. It's a mad dash daily to get your passes in and make sure everything is good. Then driving a few hundred miles Which is why I'm building a car for it. It's wild. View Quote I will build a car at some point in the next few years for drag and drives. Just bought a beater boat to screw around with that should take most of my time and energy for a bit . Kinda want to do a swapped older 2wd tacoma. |

Quoted: I do. Last night I watched the video of doing the install and finding the bellhousing bolts too long. Problem is, like RV8guy said, everything those guys do is behind schedule and cobbled to make it work. That is kind of the point of the show, no? I’d drink beer with those two. Even that steve guy I can’t remember his name now. (Dolsitch?) |

The blasphemi/ Finnegan stuff is usually done to a bit higher standard, just look at his boats. You can have both sloppy and fancy. |

Most ‘ROADKILL’ I see are buy junker, see if it makes cross country and do some goofy shit to it along the way. Oh, this wasn’t a roadkill thing? He has fucked up some things just swapping them out on roadkill when the target dies. I think they took his bone marrow or something one time? |

His crew isn't Steve Morris level but they show a range of skills from roadkill level on up. Some of it is lack of skill/attention to detail but alot of it is just running shit hard and the struggles that happen along the way. |

Finnegan is hard on stuff and a lot of sloppy stuff gets done to that car, I think due to the number of hands working on it. That said, have you seen what Tom Bailey has been going through with his car since it caught on fire? It's not just Finnegan and Bailey has a serious race shop.
