Remember, for every communist government leader, there are thousands who voted them into power. It’s not just the leaders you need to worry about. Those same people will complain when what little food is available is too expensive to buy. By then it’s too late.

I know of a family who's Oma and Opa were part of the dutch resistance.
Oma fought many years, smuggling arms and explosives under her skirt, flirting with germans at checkpoints. She took a bullet in the back while tending cattle because the men would have been shot to do it. She lived despite all odds. Opa fought tremendously hard. lived in a hole for years. By all accounts his favourite weapon was a sten and he used it to good effect on the occupying nazis. When the war ended he hid it, and did not turn it in. When they emigrated to Canada, he left it to a "friend"; unsure if he could bring it to Canada a year later, when he went back, he went to the friend with the intention of bringing it "home" with him. His friend told him he remember no such firearm and likely hid it and kept it for himself. I pray that firearm has remained hidden, oiled and kept ready. |
