Quoted: I haven't seen anything like that for the Comp. As you probably already know, the factory pic rail on the Tactical puts a red dot too high to co-witness with the sights. An Aridus CROM solves that, but won't fit the Comp. I'll buy a Comp if I can ever find one for a decent price. View Quote Yep. Not much point to having back up sights if the front dot is completely blocked by the optic. I did see that XS has Big Dots that mount over a bead and a ghost ring that mounts to the rear end of a rail. That may be an option, depending on how high the red dot sits. Local place has one in stock for a very reasonable price. I may have to just grab it and figure the rest out. |

Quoted: They are both really nice shotguns. I’ve been coveting the 21” Comp for a while nice. Would make a great all around shotgun in a hybrid field/defensive role. View Quote Yep. I’ve told myself that if I ever see a 21” comp in olive green on the shelf, I’m getting it. I’ve seen some 18”, but not the 21” so far. I don’t need it bad enough to order it, but if it appears before me, it means the universe needs me to own it. |

anyone know when aridus is going to release more croms or handgaurds?
i have the nordic extension, and a magpul stock on mine but i really want that handgaurd. |

I have a new CROM for the rmr with rob haught mod. Also have a new Aridus fde hand guard that I’ll prob sell.

Well 200 slugs arrived at my door yesterday, going to take the 1301 to the range this weekend and put some rounds through it. Only about 10 rounds have gone through it since I bought it

i have a foot/peddle activated clay thrower ready to be built im going to shoot a case of clays and many hundreds of rounds of birdshot tomorrow
my 1301 is essentially finished minus the mismatched colors, shotgun is green, aridus handguard is FDE, magpul stock is black |

I do want to another though. Maybe a comp pro, even though I have like no use for it |

I’ve been periodically looking for a 1301 Comp locally, but having no luck. Did a couple online searches and came up empty. Anybody seen a 1301 Comp available?

Also have a 92x that’s been sitting in there warranty repair department since November. Think they are having problems across the board. |

I’ve seen a couple back in stock notifications for the tactical. KYGun was one, but don’t recall the others. All were in the last month, or so, but I’ve decided on the comp and trying to be patient. Much longer and I may begin to regret not jumping on the Tactical when it was available. |

Just got an email from GG&G showing a new charging handle. It's only money, right?..

What’s the benefit of the angled side saddle? It seems that the rounds pointed down would be awkward for a reload, while the rounds pointed up would be smoother and more efficient. Just for the photo up? I do have an 870 with perpendicular Mesa side saddle and seems to work as intended. Never really had an issue but think the angle may work well, if it’s loaded with the same ammo. |

Primary arms has +8 lancer tube extensions for the 1301 comp on sale for 75 bucks. Pretty good deal.

Well that sucks….think they might have sent you the wrong one? Cant believe GG&G would mess up a design that bad.
Quoted: Well, that was a waste of money and will be going back to them. The shape of the stem that goes into the bolt is completely different than the stock charging handle and it won't lock into position. The stock handle has a protrusion on the end similar to a key that catches in the bolt. The GG&G is a straight stem with a recess at the end. Been fighting it for 20 minutes and it pulls right out with very little pressure. https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/gallery/80/full/190234.jpg View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Just got an email from GG&G showing a new charging handle. The factory handle is not coming out unless the bolt head is pushed back to just the right position to release it. The GG&G pulls right out. |

Just purchased two really nice used tactical LEO 1301’s ! Sometimes it pays to be persistent…… |

Langdon Tactical sent an email out on Thursday about having 1301’s in FDE and OD in stock. I purchased mine there last year and love the setup.

I'm sure someone will come out with an aftermarket one that actually works soon enough |

I’ve got 1301 incoming (finally) and I’m going to swap out to a Magpul stock.
Does it really matter if I get the Remington or Mossberg version, or are they the same? Probably going with the GGG conversion plate either way. |

Got my GG&G Charging Handle in today. It sure doesn’t install as securely as the factory one but mine, once installed, you have to pull like heck to get it out. I fired about 25 rounds today and it easily stayed in place.
I still would have preferred they make it like the factory one where the bolt had to be manipulated just right for it to come out. |

GGG makes an adapter for both. Just didn’t know if one stock was better than the other.

To me the mossberg feels much more comfortable, especially for hammering. The Remington requires a long reach to the trigger … if you have huge hands it might be the one to go with.
The mossberg also has a little more drop than the Remington witch allows you to keep your head up a little more for transitions between targets. If your used to a high mounted red dot on your ar you will fight getting your head down on your shotgun stock and shoot over everything. If you see rib when you pull the trigger youl shoot about a foot high. Bad habit I get into when I’m trying to blaze lol |

View Quote Pretty much the same for almost every replacement bolt handle on the market. That led me to buy one of these: https://www.customguns.co.uk/product-page/big-bolt-release-handle I have one on my primary 1301T and it is correctly shaped and stays in place. It sticks out a little more than I'd like, but it hasn't caused any issues so far. I've seen CAD drawings of another offering from another company that I hope comes out soon as that one will be my preferred option. But for now I can tell you the one linked above works. |

That's why the designer made it specifically for the Mossberg SGA. I have no desire to put the Remington SGA on my 1301. |

Looks like Aridus is designing one. Said to be locating like the Beretta one so it won't spin and pull out easy like the GG&G

Anyone drilled and tapped a 1301Comp for the Aridus CROM? Would it even work?

Quoted: Anyone drilled and tapped a 1301Comp for the Aridus CROM? Would it even work? View Quote The CROM is based on the holes on the 1301T as they come from the factory. The Comp has different holes...but if you drilled the same pattern of holes in the 1301 Comp that are on the 1301T, there's no reason why it wouldn't fit just fine. |

I was mostly worried about the profiles of the top of the receivers, but now that I take a closer look, the CROM seems to mount to the flat area. Should make for a fairly easy install. Couldn’t be much different than when I installed ghost rings on my 870. |

got my 1301, got the CROM mount and H2, I guess I need the nordic +2 next
