Quoted: Want to know why Romo the quarterback didn't get respect he deserved? A big reason is that botched hold on the field goal attempt against Seattle in the playoffs. That set the narrative of his career in motion and nothing short of winning a Super Bowl was going to thwart it. Kind of sucks for him because he was a damn good QB. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Marino is probably a top five QB in the history of the NFL. Romo might be top 20. He's the best pure quarterback the Dallas Cowboys have ever had imo. Want to know why Romo the quarterback didn't get respect he deserved? A big reason is that botched hold on the field goal attempt against Seattle in the playoffs. That set the narrative of his career in motion and nothing short of winning a Super Bowl was going to thwart it. Kind of sucks for him because he was a damn good QB. I can think of no person in known human history that is a better example BOTH sides of that coin than Romo. Romo the QB: In his 1st season as a starter a wet football slips through Romo's hands on a field goal (hell, it wasn't even as a QB) = "all he does is play like shit late in games." It doesn't matter that for the bulk of the second half of his career he had the highest active 4th quarter/OT Passer Rating in the NFL. Romo the announcer: Romo displays an incredible ability to predict plays in his first couple of seasons as an announcer (most notable the Pats/Chiefs AFC Championship game) = "Romo is great at predicting things." It doesn't matter that after those first couple of seasons he rarely does it anymore and when he does it seems like about half the time he is wrong. |

NFL "player safety" on display again. Guy is stumbling around after the play and lines up for the next play.

On that INT Mac Jones looked like he was literally throwing the ball with his eyes closed.

Quoted: I have no problem with that. But he gets treated like a bum rather than the best undrafted quarterback of all time. Had he been on better teams early in his career or not run into the injury bug, I think the story would be different. He's the best pure quarterback the Dallas Cowboys have ever had imo. "Kliff Kingsbury, how did you feel watching your franchise QB go down on the third play of the game with an apparent season-ending injury."
"HOW DO YOU THINK IT FELT, YOU STUPID BITCH!?!" |

Quoted: It still boggles my mind that they used him as a holder. The starting QB has more important things to do. View Quote He started that season as the backup to Bledsoe, and Parcells had always had his QB2 as the holder on field goals for some reason? And because he started the season holding, he continued holding. |

Am I watching MNF or the beach scene in Saving Private Ryan?
Bodies are dropping on this garbage field. |

With the full benefit of hindsight, I think Mac Jones might have made a pretty good QB for the 49ers...

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Could be. Buuuuutttttt. He didn't win the big one. You know. A Superbowl. Or a conference championship. Nooooooo. Rant over. The man was a tough cookie. He could play through painful injuries like no other QB that I know of. He is the best live TV talking head as of today. He may earn an HOF bust yet. We will see. I am sure he wanted a Superbowl ring more than an HOF bust. And we're back to the argument that a quarterback sucks because he didn't win the big one. /shrug If that is how you judge QB's fair enough. But it leads to some pretty stupid conclusions based upon guys like Trent Dilfer. I hope Prescott wins a Super Bowl in his career with the cowboys. He is still not as good a qb as Romo was. Nor is he ever likely to be. But he is good enough to win one with a stout defense to bail him out on occasion. Yup, we're back to "Dilfer > Marino." Marino should have been traded off, kind of like Rodgers should have. |

View Quote Holy shit, that's hilarious. Guessing he meant bugaboos. Good thing he's black or he'd be fucked. |

View Quote I doubt most people even know that’s a racial slur plus RGKnee is black. According to the laws of the woke mob he is allowed to use racial slurs. Unrelated to this: RGKnee sucks as an announcer and as an “analyst.” |

If Beasley can catch the ball it would be awesome.
Bills have had too many drops this year. |

Fantastic.
Welcome back a great possession receiver. In classic NFL fashion the bills dumped him because he was overpaid for a guy who could 'ONLY' get open and catch the ball. An amusing quote from my bills board I’m a lefty and would sign Trump if he could catch a football. View Quote |

Quoted: If Beasley can catch the ball it would be awesome. Bills have had too many drops this year. View Quote That's the obvious 'oh shit' problem. The bigger, more fundamental one is when Josh's head is swiveling back and forth looking for someone open. Bills still have only 4 WRs on the 53 man. John Brown has been elevated from the PS the last two weeks for a few snaps and a couple targets. They can only elevate him once more w/o adding him to the 53. I could definitely see Cole being elevated against the fishes. Something like 10 snaps, 4 targets for 4 catches and 2 first downs :) |
