Kevin Hart (known Eagles fan) posted on Instagram that he paid $16.5 million for an eagle and named it Jalen Hurts.
"All right, people, the big game is coming up. ... But before I get into how I'm celebrating I'm going to tell you why. Because I worked hard. I believe when you work hard, you should treat yourself, and that's exactly what I did. Ladies and gentlemen I splurged a little bit. I went out and bought an eagle. Show it." "Yeah, yeah. I bought that. $16.5 mil, cash. I’m the only Black man with Eagle during Black History Month. And, because it’s a wild animal, [the trainer] came with it. That’s right. So he lives here, two months, until he gets used to me. I named the eagle Jalen Hurts. Jalen! Got a big game coming up, baby you ready? Hey, when I say ‘fly Eagles fly,’ can he take a lap around the house?" Trainer: No "Well they should have told me that before I bought it. They didn’t tell me that. So somebody’s got to get some type of refund. We’ll discuss that later. Either way, I’m about to make myself what I want to call a Screaming Eagle. It was called mellow mojito but I changed the name. We celebrating all week. Big game coming up. Big moves. And I got an eagle. Jalen! You live here now. Welcome home.” Attached File |

I'll give Payton credit for having better obvious on field performance. Things like his use of Taysom Hill & less clock management issues & etc. McCarthy offense was obviously stale and with no innovation in sight & he's made the same dumb clock management mistakes his whole career. He was also the HC of GB when they let Hill go to NO and become a familiar name vs. Some practice squad guy no one would ever see. |

Earlier some of y'all were discussing the lack of interest in Super Bowl hype this year. I went to a BBQ at a friend's house today and it didn't dawn on me until I got home and I saw this thread that despite there being 10+ NFL fans there across 5+ different fan bases the topic of the Super Bowl wasn't brought up even once. And for some of those guys the NFL is usually the majority of what they talk about.

It's not that what the Chiefs have done recently compares to what the Patriots did over their stretch. It's what the Chiefs currently are doing in addition to the fear by the haters that the Chiefs look like they could do what the Patriots did. When you look at the way the roster is built with the Chiefs having more snaps played in games this year by first and second year players than any other team by a large margin and another draft with extra picks coming up this offseason, they are in position to continue this run. With the number of consecutive AFC championship games and 3rd super bowl appearance already and continuing it while rebuilding the roster they are certainly in position to keep getting shots at that super bowl every year for the near future. When it's all said and done I predict this may not be the greatest dynasty of all time, but certainly will be in the discussion. |

Mahomes and the Chiefs have played in 2 Super Bowls, won 1 Super Bowl, and in those 2 games combined they looked good for a grand total of one quarter. The question was "does it compare to Brady and the Patriots reign?" The answer to that question is "fuck no." As for your post: I doubt many people outside of Chiefs homers and/or Mahomes leg humpers think Mahomes and the Chiefs are going to win 6+ Super Bowls and barely lose 3+ Super Bowls. Of course that is a nigh impossible standard. |

The fact is they are better setup for long term continued success than anyone else in the league right now and have already been in 5 consecutive AFC championships and 3 super bowls over that time. I doubt any QB ever matches the number of super bowl wins Tom Brady did, but this comparison is going to be a lot closer than what you want to admit before Mahomes is done. |

I didn’t say they would win 6 plus Super Bowls. It’s been a fun 5 years and will continue to be fun for a long while. Five consecutive AFC championships and 3 super bowl appearances over that time is a nice start to a dynasty with a young team in place. No it doesn’t compare to the Patriots at this time, but it certainly is a nice start to a dynasty. I still am tickled the chiefs even got here during a rebuild and expect them to actually be better next year because of how they are built. I feel the eagles have the more talented roster, but here we are with another shot at it and a bright future. |

View Quote After tomorrow they’ll have two! They’ve been to three out of the five last Super Bowls. It would have been four out of five except Dee Ford lined up offsides by three inches. It would have been five out of five except for an odd meltdown in the AFC championship game against the Bengals where they gave up a huge lead. I certainly think they could win six. (In full disclosure, I’m the Chiefs homer and Mahomes leg bumper you’re talking about ) I also deserve to be a Chiefs homer and Mahomes leg humper, I’ve lived through the Matt Cassel, Tyler Thigpen, Tyler Palko, Damon Huard,, Elvis Grbac, Steve Bono, Brodie Coyle, Brady Quinn, Kyle Orton, and Alex Smith years. |

Quoted: NFL and DAZN sign deal for the worldwide (excluding China) streaming rights to NFL Game Pass International. The 10 year deal is reportedly worth $1B or $100M per season. DAZN has distributed NFL Game Pass in Canada since 2017 and has been the league's broadcast partner in Germany and Japan since 2016 as well as Italy since 2018. Football fans outside the U.S. can watch every league regular season and postseason game on NFL Game Pass International, including the Super Bowl. Available on Smart TVs, smartphones, tablets and gaming consoles. It also includes NFL Network, NFL RedZone and NFL Films programming. I wonder how much it costs. It says price varies by country. If there is a cheap country, then wouldn't combining an NFL Game Pass International subscription with a VPN set to said country be the cheapest option to watch whatever game you want all season long? No black outs?... Not a bad idea to look into. View Quote It definitely varies by country. It's about 250 dollarydoos, but many of us VPN it to a cheap country. Brazil or Venezuela is usually the cheapest at about 99USD. |

I'm not talking about whether "its been a fun 5 years" for Chiefs fans. |
