The 2nd episode dropped this morning.
Now I’m wondering how Hunter knew Cut. |

Watched it at 5am after my 3yo woke me up to help her go potty...??

Quoted: The 2nd episode dropped this morning. Now I'm wondering how Hunter knew Cut. View Quote I was wondering the same thing. Was hoping for more than a mention of Rex. But looks like he's on his own mission. The chain code thing was interesting, and when you consider that Boba Fett tells Din Jarrin that his armorer is encoded to his chain code - that just became a much bigger thing. Unless somehow I've missed it all this time. I didn't see any force sensitivity from Omega this episode. The EP 2 Kitty was a nice touch. |

This episode was fine. I expect we'll see a lot of this type of episode.
The chain code stuff....still has some 'splaining to do. I'm still undecided on Omega. I don't dislike the character. We'll see. Quoted: Yeah really don't like the girl's accent, whatever it is. View Quote New Zealand? Aussie? |

Since the Bad Batch missed Rex by a day at Cut’s I’m thinking that they’ll end up trying to trace his steps.
As far as Omega’s accent, I’m guessing Australian? Maybe New Zealand? ETA - beat while I was reading. I’m Hoping that we see a live action Rex in Kenobi. It’d be easy to get TM to shave his head and apply a costume beard. |

Did y’all notice the usual narration at the start of TCW and episode 1 of TBB didn’t happen?
|
|
Yeah, I noticed it. I think the narrator and the logo burn from The Clone Wars to Bad Batch was the handoff between the 2 shows. It was a nice nod to the prior series.

Quoted: I get the idea that these are "special" clones that have been genetically altered, but they look nothing like Jango Fett or even resemble the other clones. Throughout the Clone Wars episodes, we say several ways clones used tattoos, hair color, hairstyles and customization of armor to express their individuality. I don't know why the writers went in this direction. The team feels a little cliche with brooding leader, obviously big strong heavy, brains, silent tough guy. I hope they can get really compelling stories to make me like these guys. View Quote I just watched the first episode. It was so painfully trite and heavy handed. I understand they’re catering to little kids but even as a little kid I would have been grossed out by the cliches. It did improve towards the end of the episode. And god I hate that animation style. |
