Honestly, sell it and move. That's the only real and permanent solution. All you have to do is crunch the numbers and do the math on reproductive rates in certain demographics. If you're already within walking distance, it will only get worse. As it does, property values will suffer. The best solution is to get out before you take that hit.

Came to say this. Hilarity will ensue. View Quote You could probably find an addition to a sprinkler system that would allow you to add liquid fertilizer to a container and then siphon it out to auto feed your lawn. Would be a shame if you accidently added vinegar or deer attractant to it instead. |

I bet a feedlot would give you a couple of dump truck loads of manure, for fertilizing that area around the pond and back down that trail. They don't want that stuff on their sneakers. View Quote I was going to suggest shitting in a bucket for a month and spreading it on likely access points, but your way is probably easier. |

Here's one with good reviews for half price - $29.99. Buy a few of them and have them overlap each other in coverage.

Looks like a good place to put up a clothes line to dry laundry.
As for the youths, maybe an "angry dog" sound that plays loud when motion activated |

I get deer and wild turkeys in the yard all the time, love it. This setup is hard to find in a big city. The problem is how to chase away the riffraff and keep the wildlife. https://scontent-atl3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/14054035_10153653805645899_6393575156494656630_n.jpg?oh=94e67b0d6eeb82a9bfe192c0a49ed4f7&oe=58F7B372 View Quote You aren't going to scare or threaten them away, and any contact on your part will lead to rapid escalation on their part. You don't have a lot of nonviolent options besides ignoring them or moving. |

Gators and snakes in the yard. They'll see the Gators and snakes and run.

That is a nice spread OP, and I'm more of a desert area guy. Looks nice.

They will get pissed and try to get revenge. Lock and secure EVERYTHING. |

Signs stop honest dip shits. The folks in your front yard look like they need their clothes wet, automatic water sprinklers triggered by motion. Another sign people are scared of is venomous snakes on property.

Thorn bushes and fast growing thorny vines planted in the scrub areas, and holly hedge rows on the areas needing extra persuasion.
Transplant some poison ivy into the path areas, it grows fast. Booby traps leave evidence. You just have a green thumb <img src=http://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> |

Move to the country, not the faux country. If those youths are within walking distance then you might as well be living downtown.

That right there is reason to move. You my friend are in the orange zone.

Honestly man, urban or rural doesn't matter. Cameras are great. Lock your doors and send the vids to the cops. I doubt that the cops will be able to do anything, but it will keep them entertained.

You forgot the second rule of homebuying. Don't live on a shortcut.
You also seem to have forgotten the first rule of homebuying. We won't talk about that one. |

Along the tree line you need to bury 8ft long 4x4's 2 ft deep in concrete. Space them every 8ft. Once that is done, run barb wire from post to post. Space each run about 6 -8 inches apart. Plant vines down the fence line. Soon the vines will intertwine the barb wire and posts and you will have an invisible fence that looks like a green wall.
The next solution is to sell the house and move to where you don't live around urban yutes. If you put signs up, they will be insulted and will key your vehicles, steal your stuff, spray paint your house, break in, flatten your tires, ect. They will have a vendetta against you. It doesn't take much to get them riled up and their criminal behavior turned towards you. |

Plant watermelon food plot by another possible exit point to lure them away or in another direction.

The property isn't really setup for a fence, it backs up to a nature preserve and includes half a pond. The property also includes the land about 10 ft past the tree line. That's my truck in the center. https://scontent-atl3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/15439813_10153957171230899_4651387569209530415_n.jpg?oh=e38563f0ec72a9801deb0076448432d3&oe=58EEF3E4 View Quote oh, well in that case. It's quite possible they still won't give a shit, sign or no sign. Shoulda picked a better place to live? |
