I worked with the guy that was the Wolf rep in the video. We worked at TGI together till it went under. May give him a ring and see if he has one of the 9x39 barrels already.

Looks like it's In Range that's been posting on instagram. They have stacks of Wolf uppers in 9x39.

Krebs has an AK running in 9x39mm too. Spoke to him yesterday.

300 Blackout is so 2017 anyway...
All the gun trendsetters have jumped on the 9x39 train now. What next the 6.5 Stealth? |

I'm interested in a short barrel.
Is the ammo still "on the way"? I don't see it for sale anywhere yet. |

So whats the move here? Do I wait and see if this drives down .300 or do I hold out to see if CZ puts out a 527 in this caliber?

My only complaint is that it needs to be shorter I just hope a pistol gas system will still be the key down to say 6"

@gunwritr does it use a 7.62x39 bolt?
Can you try to put some 9x39 in a 7.62x39 AK mag? |

View Quote You can load a few rounds into a 7.62x39mm AK mag but its not optimum, however proprietary 9x39mm AK mags are on the way. Krebs has a 9x39mm shop mule up and running and is working with a company on mags. |

If the price point is right, I'll rebarrel my 300BO AR into this caliber. and never shoot BO again. Also I just really really want a VSS. |

What’s the threading on the barrels? Do I need a .45 can for this?

@Gunwritr what is the thread pitch on the barrels? I'm going to order a pistol can today and need to know.

I was contemplating doing a run of matching lowers that are more clone correct, not sure if there is a market for this though.

Quoted: @Gunwritr thank you! so any 9mm can with a 1/2x28 mount will work? fascinating. This might save money as I was thinking I'd need a .45 can define clone correct View Quote I never said any 9mm will work. I don't know that. You are going from a .355 inch to a .364 inch diameter projectile, check with the manufacturer to ensure you have sufficient clearance for the larger diameter projectile first!! |
|
Also verify whatever muzzle device you choose has a large enough exit hole!!
|
|
I have a high volume 9mm can that needs a new host. This may fit the bill!!

I'll have a 300 Blackout barrel and a bunch of ammo for sale or shot here soon I think. |

help me out folks.
I spoke with two companies today who say their 9mm cans won't clear the .393 diameter 9x39 bullet - now this is based on what wiki has - haven't seen any measurements posted on the wolf ammo. So this leaves me with wanting a .45 can (one pistol can to do it all). Need suggestions: Criteria: 1.) in stock at SilencerShop 2.) easily swap-able mounts / pistons - 1/2x28 for glocks, 1/2x36 for AR-9, and of course to accommodate the 9x39 barrel. Naturally the ability to mount on a 1911 too. 3.) $1k with stamp @SilencerShop or others want to make some suggestions? I'm ready to buy. |
