Everyone should make note the left's rampant hypocrisy.
They were all for declaring ISP's to be utilities because of alleged free speech issues, when it was really all about wanting their cheap Netflix subsidized by everyone else. Now they turn around and are hiding their efforts to silence their opponents behind the justification that the domain registrars and ICANN are private companies. In the case of ICANN a private company with a government sponsored monopoly, I thought leftists hated monopolies? Oh yeah, that's only when they don't control them. As always leftists have no principles, their positions on issues shift entirely based on what they stand to get out of it. |

I didn't mind stormfront too much. I wasn't a regular, but I did read the site periodically. People will tell me I'm wrong, but the hate and ignorance spewed over there isn't all that much different from the hate and ignorance spewed here. When it comes to transgenders, gays, democrats, illegal aliens, lower class black people, and various other topics; the closed minded shit I read here almost exactly mirrors the shit I read over there with the exception of a few vocabulary words that are commonly used over there; racial slurs were surprisingly not present though.

Can anybody confirm that ICANN is preventing the transfer of domains? The EFF article I posted made it seem like the one site was being held in limbo by google, not ICANN.
