S&W First Responder pricing on these guns, then got more money back with the mail in rebates (all Quantico Tactical purchases, owner is a Marine).
I think a Trijicon GWOT-Vet discounted VCOG would go great on that M&P10 Tax free purchases on post with these (S&W Rebate on the M&P15 as well) Veterans discount on this Eotech Mil discount on a safe like this from the local retailer and more money back in a first responder rebate from Liberty Veterans discount from the breeder on my pup I buy my groceries at the commissary where I pay no tax and buy gas and my beer on post as much as possible to save on tax. View Quote Funny how that works.. the Vietnam era vets felt looked down upon by the WW2 and Korean Vets as if there service was less... Now you have the GWOT era vets walking that thin line because they are the current vets... what they will find out in about 25 years is they will be lumped into another group...by those who have forgotten them and there service... funny how we, like gun owners, tend to eat ourselves... As I don't give a shit about these discounts , which don't add up to shit in this life.. I think Trijicon made a mistake.. Perhaps next Veterans Day, when all the chains are giving all of you a free meal, they might start excluding certain time frames of service... you know, as a Marketing tool to appeal to a certain demo graph.... |

I'm actually happy that RA is going to be able to buy a $200 optic for $600 and congratulate himself because the list price is $1000. Here's the thing that we all need to take note of: The popularity of all things blacktical is waning, and the panic is over. Prices are crashing across the board. Those of us that have been in this for a while, have seen black rifles become a mainstream fad, just like BeenyBabies, and it is crashing just as fast. This is not a "Thank You" to WOT vets. This is a desperate and cynical attempt by Trijicon to maintain their sales levels, without devaluing their product through massive across the board price capitulation. We will see that later, with absolute certainty. But first, they will shill these discounts to select "Special" groups. Ask yourslf this: How over priced is this product, if they can afford to offer 40% off and still make a healthy profit? Somebody paid attention in business 101 Funniest part is, this style of Marketing is so effective, these poor guys don't stand a chance. They literally cannot help themselves. I probably sold an extra 100 Acogs, just by highlighting the Exclusivity of this fabulous offer. I'll buy a new one with the GWOT-vet discount thinking about you, thanks for your service. Yeah .40 x retail price = not great of a deal. That's probably how much you pay at a dealer.
If they gave it to veterans for a dealers price then now your talking. They are probably not doing that great on sales right now. |

Explain how I am "butthurt" 14'er. It's not about the discount. Never was. I'm not in the market for an Acog because I already have one, and they are still overpriced at 40% off. More people buying them is a good thing, because more in circulation means the get cheaper on the EE. Any vet who can't understand why someone would be ... only needs to turn the scenario around. If you are being intellectually honest, you'll get it. If you just want to throw shit like a chimp, you'll continue to pretend you don't understand. |
