Rather than a person of color or a person of coochie, I think it's a lot more important that he pick a person of youth that matches his energy level. Picking a woman isn't going to make all the women suddenly support him, and the same goes for blacks. I think all of those old conventional electoral truisms are gone for this particular race. People who claim to still be undecided now are likely gonna vote for the dem anyway. The plan should be to get out the vote and harvest the ballots, not change anybody's mind. A good show of energy will energize voters to get out and vote for a change.

Article II states: “The electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for two persons, of whom one at least shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves.”
In a close election, why would anyone risk this becoming an actual issue? Especially with a state like Florida and all its electoral votes? |

Quoted: Trump needs a Gov but im not crazy about Burgun. He needs a woman for helping with abortion but Stefanik isn’t a gov. Scott is cool and would help with blacks but we dont need SC. Carson will help with blacks and is a smart man. He just doesn’t fire up voters. We need Sarah Huckabee Sanders. View Quote Yup, very surprised she isn’t on the list. |

A brilliant man with admirable achievements in life, but definitely not an administrator, and certainly not VP material. He could serve well in an advisory role, but he doesn't even need a cabinet level job again. |

Carson has said too much nutty stuff and The View and friends will cancel out his blackness by telling black people he is an uncle Tom.

He should pick that crazy GREEN chick, she would make a great match for his vp, they could tag team their opponents.

I’d rather him pick someone who’s got a chance of being elected in 2028.

Quoted: Isn't Ben Carson the guy who said the point of the pyramids was to store food, evolution isn't real, and a bunch of other wacko stuff when he ran in 2012? Or am I thinking of someone else? View Quote The country isn't interested in another hardcore Bible thumper like Pence, despite what the ARFCOM religious folks say. |

Quoted: She's too fat and ugly. I'm sorry but that's the way it works. An average American voter doesn't remembers her, but show people a picture of Kayleigh McEnany And I bet they remember that blonde. Sarah just didn't cut it and I'm sorry it has nothing to do with her performance. View Quote Obviously, you haven't seen her lately. And it looks like she's doing a great job as governor, too. |

Carson as vp, plus somehow vivek as speaker. Then immediately after inauguration, steps down and Carson is president. That would restore my faith in the human species.

Trump lives in Florida as do two people on the list. The president and vice president cannot be from the same state. Who’s going to relocate?

My bad. I’m wrong. Sorry |

Carson
I don't know all of them and certainly haven't heard their ideas but the ones I have heard I say Carson |

I like Carson the most out of that list, but I agree that the VP should be a cokehead without the white nose, like Trump. Trump also needs someone who will yell back at him once he’s in office without fear of being shitcanned.

But seems like a kick ass guy to head up domestic stuff that needs handling I like Ted Cruz and think he would do awesome in the debates. But he does not poll well in likability. Yes, and Ted is best reserved for putting on SCOTUS anyway …. either to replace Thomas (assuming he wants to retire out) or the Wise Latina with known health issues. |

Erik Prince (but he’s probably campaigning for SecDef after his recent podcasts)

I’ll take Byron Donalds, he’s a freedom caucus member & principled conservative who appeals to younger people & is hard for the DNC to counter program against.

Vance or Carson.
My worry with Carson would be the...not "extreme Christian-ism" ...but I think that needs to be toned down if they want mass appeal and buy in. "The pyramids are grain silos!" Is not what we need. |

I’m surprised by all the Carson support here.
I understand he’s intelligent, professionally accomplished, and overall seems like a genuinely nice guy. In energy, enthusiasm, and charisma he’s basically a black Jeb Bush. Dull and uninspiring. The sort of person well suited to accountancy. |
