Quoted: Come on there’s gotta be more that GD can deliver. It’s not exactly a unique platform for optics, but my P320 is unique in that it uses a frame-mounted optic system: https://content.invisioncic.com/r270761/monthly_2021_06/2721068C-4D21-4B2F-B6AA-043AC5039216.jpeg.9d476503ede7a3ee7d82841e6ddb9ccf.jpeg To my knowledge it was the first P320 to have this type of system in existence. It has inspired at least one other person I know about to make an Open division P320 also with the frame mounted optic View Quote That’s cool! |

View Quote Other than that gay rail thing that is close to handgun perfection. Nothing feels better in my hand than a BHP. I dont know why that is so hard to replicate. I shoot them well, too. Even with shitty stock triggers. |

Much appreciated It’s completely unintentional, but I do quite like the vaguely Cyperbunk vibe the gun has due to all the enhancements. It’s been in the works in my head for a very long time, I was thrilled when all the components became available to turn it into a reality |

The rail is paramount It’s one of the two absolute necessities to modernize a classic pistol: Optics-ready, and a rail for WMLs/lasers. Extra points for magwells and other accessories of course |

Quoted: Hummina Custom milled? Who did the work to the slide? View Quote So…..I was browsing GB one night after several drinks and bid on the Coonan. I put a bid of $1000 and thought no way I’d win. Well I did. Sank some more into it. Rail and RMR and refinish. It’s heavy, but that is a benefit with some of the more stout 357 magnum loads. Had it done in Phoenix, Wright Armory. |

Quoted: I will say this FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO GET AN ODDBALL PISTOL CUSTOM MILLED FOR AN OPTIC (emphasis for attention): CHPWS is known to do one-off custom slide milling that is otherwise not listed on their website. If you have a gun you want milled and can’t find anywhere else to do it, send an email to CHPWS before you give up. If it’s physically possible to do, they’ll let you know and get you fitted up View Quote Had them do a Walther PPS for me, they did great work and called or emailed updates as things progressed |

Quoted: @Mah_lee Did you get the PPS cut or the 'Waltger Defense Upgrade' cut? I have a 407k I want to toss on my M2. View Quote I went with the pps cut/direct mill I couldn't tell the difference between them, other than the pps cut being slightly cheaper than the Walther defense deal at the time iirc That appears to be flipped price wise now, and the Walther defense appears to say "PPS pistols can only be direct milled for 407k, 507k, Romeo0, RMS, or RMSc. All PPS slides will feature the ZEV patented optic cut which features threaded recoil posts allowing for more thread engagement to keep your optic securely mounted to your slide." That could have been there and I just missed it. I didn't opt for any extras, so no patented posts, but if you can get it for around the same price I paid, that seems like an even better deal Eta: but the zev posts appear to be an upgrade option ?? I'd probably shoot them an email to clarify, rather than my mess of a post from my phone |

PPS cut is under 4 week lead time vs 8-10 weeks for the Walther defense cut. |
