So 1500 calories a day of gummy worms is better than 2000 calories of chicken, eggs, and vegetables? Calories are calories, right? View Quote And I’m pretty sure no one that suggests that carbs aren't evil would recommend a diet consisting solely of gummy worms. That’s just retarded. |

OP, the reduced calorie diet you're eating will probably make you lose weight, but what are your long term plans when you get to your target weight for maintaining it? If you can't sustain the amount you're eating now you're going to have to make better choices, and you might as well start the habit now. I'd suggest replacing half your carbs with more meat of some sort, limit yourself to just one serving of fruit a day and add more vegetables like cucumber, carrots, avacado, etc., and then cut out all the cake and ice cream. If you absolutely can't drop the sweets, pick a cheat day to have your desert and limit it to one special treat a week. |

Carbs, carbs, carbs and more carbs View Quote Good luck OP. You are likely to have a hard time with this diet, because the carbs will spike insulin which will make it hard for you to burn fat, and it will keep you hungry and craving more carbs, which will spike insulin. Your diet looks like the one prescribed by General Mills and Kellogg's. Sadly there's hardly any info on TD about KETO; otherwise I could refer you to a thread where guys talk about losing weight while feeling great, no hunger, sharp mind, firmer erections, etc. Gosh, what a shame. |

Calories in/calories out are for perfect thermodynamic machines.
Humans have these things called hormones. Turns out they fuck up that whole theory. 2K calories of snickers bars do not have the same effect on the body as 1800 calories of fat and 200 calories of protein. If you think so, good luck! Eat 2k calories of bacon for 30 days, then 2k calories of snickers for 30 days, let us know which works better for ya. And before someone says "yeah but balance," well blah blah. If a calorie is a calorie, then a calorie is a calorie. Or it isn't. |

Cooked eggs stay good for up to 3 days in the fridge. Scrambled egg and a couple slices of turkey on some wheat toast is a very tasty and filling breakfast. Drinking lots of water is a no brainer. Good luck stay with it!

View Quote Stop drinking calories! Milk and juice are mostly sugar. Hello insulin roller coaster for you! Change to black coffee and water. You'd be way better off with Keto, Paleo, South Beach induction, or even the Sugar Busters Diet if you can't lose the bread. In to see how long you keep this diet up before caving to rabid hunger from too few calories combined with sharp insulin spikes. |

You're pretty good at teasing cock for dinner.
For my food log today, I've had 8 beers - seriously, keeping in the spirit of the thread, the only calories I've ingested today come from Deep Ellum Dallas Blonde. I've got a stocked pantry though (and a decent buzz), so I might come up with something kinda sorta cool for actual food. Gimme a few minutes. |
