Quoted: I have all the same sources as your garbage stats. Your diet is literally only in existence in niche pages on the internet. Most people don't join cults to lose weight. Portion control and exercise. It's not magic. All the non-fatties out there, do you believe they're all in your cult? Or is it more likely they're just not abusive eaters and move around throughout the day? View Quote I think your responses are all based on feelings and not actual science. I think even most non-ketoers agree the troll OP's "diet" is too high in carbs and sugar and does not promote a healthy diet and/or weight loss. I also suspect that those most vehemently anti-low-carb are fat asses trying to justify their weekly Olive Garden Never Ending Pasta Bowl and free bread excursions. |

Starting to think that OP is a photographer working for a company that produces the photos for cafeterias and menus (or at least should be).

J- View Quote Op is a person who is capable of learning some things, witch is way more than I can say for most of gd. Op could make this an epic food photo thread, but probably won’t. I can not speak for op, I’m simply making alcohol filed assumptions. I like op, but.... well, he’s op. So, there’s that. |

No one can eat that many carbs and loose weight.
You want to lose weight? Eat 25 grams carbs/day until the weight is lost, then slowly move up to 50. But 50 is the max for the rest of your life. Eat meat, dairy and veggies. No fruit, no sweets, no grains until the weight is lost. Then you can eat a little fruit and maybe 2 slices of bread a day. No refined sugar for life. If you want to lose weight super fast, limit yourself to 700-800 calories a day until the weight is lost (eating as above.) That's about what people who have had bariatric surgery eat and they lose weight fast. |
|
Not bad op. Portions are a bit too big if you ask me. Its either pasta and veggies or chiken and veggies, not both. Just one ball of yogurt, not two.
Careful with the cereal, it may or may not have a ton of sugar. Gotta read the label to be sure. |

A calorie deficit will certainly give you a weight loss. But you are probably going to lose some muscle weight with that high carb/low protein thing you are doing. Might even catch a case of the beetus.

Serious question: are you cleaning out the local thrift stores to come up with that many different plates or is your usual taste fairly eclectic?

After losing weight 100lbs in a year, I’d say good for you on making the choice to take control. I’d also say, as they guy who’s lost 100lb in the last year, eat steak. As long as you are in a caloric deficit you will loose weight. Of your trying to gain muscle as well...thats a different story. Burn off more calories than you intake, plain and simple.

Quoted: get rid of the bun and ketchup (or use low carb) and you'd loose weight eating that, assuming you changed diet across the board. View Quote OR you could cut carbs, get into ketosis, and stop the cravings and stop the down regulating of your metabolism. Up to you! But the OP's apparently low fat high carb approach isn't generating particularly dramatic results.. And in another 3 weeks or so, he will have to restrict calories further to maintain any deficit. Hope it works for you OP! |

Macronutrient ratios aside (everybody is going to argue over this - it's just how it is), you're obviously eating relatively few calories relative to your (presumed) weight. As such, there's little doubt in my mind that you will shed pounds over time if you keep it up. Question: Can you eat like this consistently for the rest of your life? Do you have to consciously fight feelings of hunger to pull this off, or do you feel perfectly satiated most of the day? View Quote |
