Quoted: The GoMango in the OP doesn't look right to me. Looks too red. This is the color I knew as GoMango (not my pic, but I had the same car). http://veh-markets.com/uploads/postfotos/2006-dodge-charger-daytona-rt-gomango-orange-2.JPG View Quote It changed in recent years. |

Quoted: Black stripes won't show on the darker blues and greens. How about a factory special order color? Hugger Orange was from 1970, don't know if it was offered in your year. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/369185/1602905636559635134619-1639832.jpg View Quote I love hugger orange, but it’s overdone IMO. |

Black stripes will look like shit on the green or blue. Consider White or silver stripes or a lighter color

Metallic flake deep burgundy.....with at least 10-15 coats of clear.

Had a buddy back in the day with an SS 396 Chevelle in dark Shadow Gray - black stripes, black guts.
Gorgeous car. Can see it clearly in my mind right now 40+ years later... |

Firemist metallic, any Firemist Metallic really.
Personally I have a desire for a late 60s early 70s GM small block two door in Cobalt Blue Firemist with white stripes. |

Also, nearly all green cars are of a lighter shade. |

My choice would be blue, but a silver stripe.
Mango is the only one that would look good with a black stripe. The green would go best with a white stripe IMO. |

The deep ocean blue gets my vote. Me and the wife did a '73 Road Runner in the '90s. We had it painted Gun Metal Blue. Looked really nice. Someplace I have a 35mm pic of it.

Whatever option of pale blue, pale yellow, pale sage / light avocado or light olive green or whatever gross colors of that era will look really sharp IMHO. |

If you want to go w/ a monochromatic street car w/ no stripes and possibly some emblems shaved, go w/ the green. If you want the wide Chevelle stripes and all the extra chrome bits, go w/ a different color.

I had an orange chevelle with white stripes and white vinyl seats back in the day . Ill go with mango .

Deep Ocean Blue is a beautiful color. Sad that Chevy ditched it in the 2019+ Silverado.

For a 66, Tuxedo black or Marina blue... Mine is Tuxedo black and I want to change it to a satin black...

Dark blue with white stripes would look good. Of course you’d have to have white interior too.

Go Mango
You really should go with the classic Hugger Orange though. |
