Quoted: For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige. One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!". Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs. I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant. View Quote |

I remember eating them. Nasty little steamed hot dogs. I don't remember if they were in a kids meal or all by themselves. It was a long time ago. I was a kid, I didn't care, I just wanted a hot dog! |

They tried multiple times, why don't they have a sloppy joe or tacos, i mean this question could be endless.
They make what they want cause they know what the customer is willing to pay for. |

Quoted: Why doesn't McDonald's make a Hot Dog? Seems easy and profitable enough. Right? View Quote Not sure I'd trust a McDonald's hot dog. They'd probably use those cheap Bar-S hot dogs you see in the supermarket for a dollar a pack. I don't know what they put in those things, but meat that cheap is highly suspect. |

If you need a fast food hot dog just go to cook out and get the cook out style dog.

Because they know that with the kind of people that eat there, sooner or later somebody will walk in and ask for them to put ketchup on it, and even McDonald’s knows that putting ketchup on a hotdog is vile.

I had pizza at a McDonald’s once.
There was a Wendy’s not far from me that used to serve hot dogs. |

Sonic used to have a Chicago Dog that wasn't bad at all. They dropped it from the menu. I made many a trip to Sonic just for that item.

Quoted: It'd be so nasty. related, I saw the ad for Wendy's new fries (they suck) but made me realize McD's fries are exactly the same from when I was kid. I can't remember them being anything else. View Quote In 1990 they stopped frying them in beef tallow. Don't get me wrong. They are still worthy of the occasional fry craving. They just aren't as good as they used to be. |

Burger King had hot dogs for a little while a few years ago. I thought they were pretty good for what they were.

McDonald's tried to market a Cuban Sandwich in Miami. It failed miserably.
McDonald's in Miami is now serving Cuban cuisine. |

If you guys think their making hotdogs would be a questionable menu item, how do you feel about the McLobster roll???

Some of the McDonalds in my area had bratwurst for a short time; probably 10-15 years ago.
I tried a couple and they eventually made a turd which is about the best thing I can say about them. Pesonally I have serious doubts that they'd be able to pull off a product that people would say: "you know, I could really go for a hot dog" "Yeah, me too. Let's go to McDonalds" |
