a car that I have owned, from the past, unmodified, from-the factory-new.
easy, 1972 Chevy Nova. My sister and I paid for it, and she took it to college where she wrecked it my first car turned out to be a 1976 Subaru station wagon. Hell, I'd take that one too. I had a lot of fun with that thing |

Sounds silly, and by today’s standards it is, but I had a 1984 Celica GTS that was bad ass.

2007 BMW 335i coupe m-sport pkg.
1st year, twin turbos. New? Great. But with a warranty;) |

1987 Buick Grand National

My 1977 Bronco. One of the nicest in the country. I should never have sold it in 09.

1992 Chevy Blazer 4Dr 4x4 with the 700R4 transmission. Tape player and all.

I'd love to have my 91 ranger back and in in factory fresh form. No mods though? Like no modern updates from the factory? That's cool, I'm still gonna do my own stuff to it. I would like the manual locking hubs, instead of the shit automatic ones...that was an option though.

Toss up between my 78 Trans Am with the 400 and WS6 handling package, and my 71 Triumph TR-6. Of course, I'd have to preemptively replace all the shitty Lucas electronics before driving.

Of all the vehicles I've owned, it would have to be either a '97 Land Rover Discovery or an '88 BWM 528e.

Quoted: Toss up between the 1987 Supra Turbo or the 1999 Eagle Talon TSi (AWD) both were 5 speeds. https://www.autotrader.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1987-toyota-supra-turbo-front-left-side.jpg https://bringatrailer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/1990_eagle_talon_159838483249ea4180a8IMG_8688.jpeg?fit=940%2C627 View Quote Dude. Really? The Supra without a second thought. |

'68 Bronco, 289 v8, 3 on the tree.
And I'm going to replace the vacuum wipers with electrics no matter what you say. |

I don't think I've had any cars or trucks that I don't miss sometimes. But if it has to be bone stock original definitely my 98 Trans Am. I got it when I was 19. It was a rebuilt car that had been back halfed. For the age and mileage at the time I bought it dirt cheap and finished putting it together myself. It was black on black and it looked awesome. It always worried me that it was clipped though. It looked like somebody ran it across a huge band saw right across the t bar and rockers with a straight butt weld all the way around. I put sub frame connectors on it and drove it for a while but I let it go and I have missed that car ever since. I currently have and have had some 2nd and 3rd gen f bodys that would be fun with an ls swap but nothing I've ever had could hang with the TA in original form.

My current ride
2014 F-150 FX4 - Ruby Red Metallic Ruby is a good truck |

1955 Chevrolet 2-door Sedan. You read that correctly.
Ours was "slightly" modified with a 327 with ~400hp... |
It's a toss up: 1975 Pontiac Trans Am or 1990 Nissan 300zx TT.
1967 Camaro. No fancy paint, wheels or big engine. I know I have photos somewhere.
69 Mustang w/ 351W and C4. I owned it as a teenager, didn't have the money to invest what it really needed and sold it off.
Thinking back on all the cars I've owned, I'd have to say my second car: a 1970 Pontiac Tempest. Not a Goat, but close enough.
Car that's sitting in my driveway in less then new condition now. (600K miles'll do that)
1992 Escort GT with the long discontinued Goodyear Eagles. I would happily pay a new Mustang's MSRP to get my EGT back brand new. |
Dark blue Datsun 280ZX Turbo with the T-Roof, only car that I still miss 35 years after trading it in!
My '98 Eclipse. If I can put a sound system in it.
I've had great cars, hot rods; '72 Cuda, '76 Trans Am. But the Eclipse was my first new car and I loved that thing. |

1980 Camaro Berlinetta, dark blue, no spoiler. I tried to move a bridge near the airport in Cleveland, OH. The bridge was probably 100 years old - steel reinforced concrete - didn't move much.

I had a suzuki sidekick for a while that was fun to drive on the beach and dirt roads but was just clapped out. Getting one brand new would be sweet I would make a little mini technical out of it ??
Maybe my 1979 Toyota Celica GT liftback. A very solid car for the day. I had a 1975 Camaro before it and it was as fast, handled better, and got 20mpg at the time.
Attached File Today's tuners might have fun with now. |

Quoted: I would not trade the SUV I am driving now for any of my previous vehicles. It fits my needs of easily carrying a lot guns to the range and rides very comfortably. Crappy gas milage but I don't ever have to go that far. Every now and then I would like to have my '89 FZR back, but overall it is not quite the bike my current Triumph Daytona is. View Quote |
