This is a pretty cool video about the Sawyer water filter that you can buy at Walmart or off of Amazon for around $30 and how they distribute them to women in communities in Honduras to filter water for multiple families.  Some of the filters shown in this video have been used daily for over 10 years and still work.

I’ve bought several of these and other Sawyer models (mini filter is around $20) for that Just in Case moment, plus possibly using as barter items if it come to that. Sawyer is the brand that was talked about in the Garand Thump Urban Survival video that boasted of filtering 100,000 gallons of water.  I’s say the women in Honduras exceeded that amount several years ago.

Why This is the Last Water Filter I'll Ever Buy!

Illegal Aliens Welcomed to Texas — and beyond…

@BensmanTodd
and I spent yesterday on the ground rummaging around the Texas roads below.

Today we rented an airplane and flew above.  Clouds kept us at 1800AGL and so the colonia below was too big for our cameras to gulp with a single shot.

This 3rd world north of Houston is situated by Plum Grove.

A high government official wishing to remain anonymous told Todd and me the owner just more than doubled the size depicted below with additional land purchase of 35,000 acres.  We did not confirm this but the government official is in a position to know.  The government official said this single colonia will be able to house at least 200,000 people — and most will be illegals.

Colonias are popping up around America in various forms such as “commandeered” hotels.  Cartels are King of the Colonias.

Rapes, murders, and tuberculosis, will continue until morale improves or WEF is dead.  This is killing America.  This is war.

The image below is from the article attached.  Todd and I could not fly high enough to see the entire colonia from one place.

PLEASE SHARE WITH EVERYONE…especially share with idiotic liberals who will be raped and murdered “disproportionately” in their gun free zones and homes.

WEF wants to remove one billion personal vehicles from roadways by 2050: report

According to a WEF briefing document, the globalist entity is demanding a 75% global reduction of cars from 1.45 billion to 500 million by the year 2050.

“By 2050, almost 70% of people will live in urban areas, with towns and cities expected to grow by 2.5 billion people over that period. In an increasingly urbanized world, delivering healthy, inclusive, sustainable and vibrant cities is vital for both people and the planet,” reads The Urban Mobility Scorecard Tool: Benchmarking the Transition to Sustainable Urban Mobility.

The brief calls transport “the lifeblood of cities” that connects people to their communities and loved ones and the goods and services they rely on daily. “As cities grow and evolve, so must our transport systems,” wrote the WEF.

The document also added that WEF projects upwards of 2.1 billion vehicles by 2050 without adjusting the current trajectory, emitting 4.6 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide.

You’re right.  I wouldn’t be surprised if smaller versions were being planned for all over the country.

Farmers sceptical of “attractive” buyout plan for peak polluters

Farmers have given a lukewarm reception to the latest stage of the Dutch government’s programme to cut nitrogen compound emissions by buying out hundreds of “peak polluters”.

Around 3,000 farms will be eligible for payments of up to 120% of the value of their business if they shut down. The scheme mainly targets livestock farms close to designated conservation zones, where European limits on nitrogen deposits apply.

The government has allocated €975 million to fund the scheme, equivalent to €325,000 per farm if everyone who is eligible applies, but ministers accept that the majority will choose not to give up.

Agriculture minister Christianne van der Wal hopes that around 500 farmers will take up the offer, which she has described as “wildly attractive”. “It would be very good if we manage to reach 20%,” she said.

On Monday the government opened a website where farmers can check if they qualify as a peak polluter. Some users complained that the online portal carried little information or guidance and was written in official jargon.

This may be an inflection point when a state congressman advises his fellow citizens to flee their own state.  Honestly, there really are no more free states.  Some states may be more free than others right now, but everything is changing right if front of us, very quickly.  Certainly, it seems that fighting in the political or judicial sense is a sure way to get crushed anymore, even in parts of “free states”.  Eventually, another kind of battle will be the only option left,  no matter which state you decide to stay anf fight in or flee to.

How Communist China Could Imminently Cripple America’s Electric Grid: Tommy Waller

The U.S. electricity grid is critically dependent on extra-high-voltage transformers made in China, says Tommy Waller, President of the Center for Security Policy. An expert on the U.S. grid, Waller also stars in the documentary “Grid Down, Power Up.”

What are the greatest problems facing America’s electrical grid? Why is the industry allowing these vulnerabilities to exist? And what happens if the electric grid goes down?

Instead of concentrating on state, maybe the focus should be more on community?  Oregon or Washington would be a great example of that.

In the end, no state will escape the ultimate battle.

Syria: UN will cut food aid for 2.5 million amid 'unprecedented funding crisis’
International donors hold conference for Syrians as UN warns that it will cut aid for at least 2.5 million refugees amid rising prices

The UN has warned that due to an unprecedented funding crisis, it will be cutting food aid to at least 2.5 million Syrians.

More than 5.5 million Syrians rely on the UN World Food Programme (WFP) for their basic food needs.

The WFP is in the process of drawing up plans to prioritise the remaining three million Syrians who are unable to make it from one week to the next without food assistance.

The UN body warned that if it continued to provide aid to all the 5.5 million people in need it would run out of food completely by October.

Ed Dowd prediction of bank consolidation now acknowledged by Janet Yellen.  Economic chaos is coming to usher in CBDC.

Alien Threats A Facade to Justify Spending Bonanza warns Edward Dowd

“An alien threat is a government spending bonanza,” claims Edward Dowd, founding partner of Phinance Technologies. He also warns that central bank digital currencies could give the government more control over people’s money and freedom, adding more economic chaos to today's bear market. And as economic conditions worsen, the U.S. dollar is “at an endgame” and the government would need to introduce a new financial system, he explains. In order to survive this ongoing turmoil, Dowd advises investors to seek opportunities in cash. “People at the maximum amount of fear will want to sell everything. You have to fight that fear,” he claims. Finally, he says that de-dollarization is unlikely to happen given the dollar’s dominance in global trade. “So the dollar system, if it fails, will fail up, meaning it will destroy the rest of the globe before it destroys us,” he concludes.

Aside from the high cost of these indoor grow systems, there are some other issues.

First, it assumes you have plenty of electricity for the grow lights.  But will there be electricity available?  If groceries are not available, why would we think that electricity will be plentiful?

If the government doesn’t want you to grow food, it won’t be hard for them to find out that you’re growing your own. Years ago, the Oklahoma drug enforcement agency would fly small planes around rural areas with a thermal camera looking for brightly lit homes out in the sticks.  And they would get a warrant, and go close down the grow shop.  Of course, it was marijuana. They were looking for then. But now, maybe any vegetables at all could make you a target.

Good point.  Never underestimate the government’s desire to encroach on people’s desire for self-sustainability.

I wonder about the usefulness of rolling it out on a patio during a portion of the day and back indoors at night.  Of course, not everyone has a patio or efen a balcony to do that.

I grew some bell peppers is a couple of topsy turvy planters several years ago and found that the ones I planted in good ol’ fashioned big plastic pots actually grew better.  They stayed outside all of the time, though.

I bought 5 acres in the country, planted a garden, a Heritage orchard, and raised chickens. We got to know our neighbors and discovered a lot of talent that we could share. Still, it wasn't addressing some areas. Later my son and I bought a 240-acre ranch. It was defensible, hidden off the road, and had way more water than we needed. We began raising cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and rabbits. We also have a half acre of garden and growing in size and output. The neighbors are great and willing to do things together. When drought struck, we had pasture to save their cattle. In return, we got aged chicken manure. We discovered our geography has twice guided tornados around us rather than flatten us. Need a shooting range? We can shoot out to 600 yards if we want. Our guardian dogs are worth their weight in gold. We are far from where we want to be in making it through a SHTF but we are far more prepared than probably 95% of people. Also important is we now know who we can trust and feed if need be. They are workers, not spectators.

This is where I have failed - unreliable family members are being deliberately imported to our location by a selfish worthless person, a person who I am 100% will demand the best of whatever is left when bad things happen, and will be VERY surprised when finally told no. The family has NEVER told this person 'no' in 40 years. When things go south I expect this person to be the first person to narc us off to bad people just to "get revenge", without concern to the fallout. I mean, have you ever witnessed a 40 year old repeatedly slamming an exterior door of a house, screaming "She's a bitch!" when denied what they demanded? Like many here have stated, my preparations are FAR better than they were just two years ago, but far less than I would prefer, and the addition of the adult/child and two other useless eaters will not help.

I think for the price of one of those Eden Grow Towers, you could buy or build a reasonable sized greenhouse that didn’t require any electricity and would produce a lot more food.  Just some elbow grease to haul dirt and some big planters.  In my experience, a moderate sized box kept almost all the weeds out and made tending it a lot easier. They also extend the growing season considerably.

Of course, you need a little bit of land with sunshine.  You couldn’t use this if you lived in an apartment.

At the moment, I have several kinds of lettuce growing in a planter out back, plus a porch box in front.  We’re eating the backyard lettuce now. But as it withers in the summer eat as is already starting, we will transition to the front porch box that is shielded from the afternoon sun.

ERA:  One downside to a greenhouse is they can be looted in SHTF.   An inside grow tower is less likely.

Like many here have stated, my preparations are FAR better than they were just two years ago, but far less than I would prefer, and the addition of the adult/child and two other useless eaters will not help.

I would strongly consider moving and not leaving a forwarding address, or at least moving to the opposite side of the country.

I periodically check the FDA Drug Shortage List: https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/drugshortages/default.cfm

Seems like over the last 5 years or so, the number of drug shortages has been increasing and some of the most commonly used ones have come up short more than once. And, this was happening *before* Kung Flu.

This summer is shaping up to be a real hot one, too, at least in N. Texas.

Believe the "tanks" (really artillery M109s) in Idaho were a guard unit moving to Idaho Falls Training Area for their training.

What strikes me here, from what I remember being told years ago, is that the treads have to be changed to a more rubber compound for the tanks to roll down highways or city streets.  The normal treads would literally destroy the asphalt paving.

Maybe there are more versatile treads available now, I don’t know, but something just seems a little off in that scene. Maybe someone out there can share their expertise here?

Looks like they are driving down the side of the road and not on the road itself.

The tracks we had on back in the 90s allowed us to drive on roads below a certain speed without much damage.  Just as long as you don't do hard turns, it usually didn't leave any markings on the road.

Good deal.  Thanks for the clarification.
