In an era of stress and anxiety, when the present seems unstable and the future unlikely, the natural response is to withdraw from reality, taking recourse in fantasies of the future or in modified visions of a half-imagined past.

They didn't listen about keeping them clean and the sandy soils just always leave some grit, but wow. A colleague has the record though - this was under three large oak trees on a little hill in her back yard in town. I got called in to check the ID and left with a few bags. Oh, and I forgot until I saw the pic again that they gave me a Modelo or three too |

My wife loves to twist and turn the knife on the cutting board, then use the edge, not the back, to swipe the food off of it. She doesn't like when I watch her cut food because she says I make faces. She's undoubtedly correct. |
