We used titanium billet in the handle, pivot collar, and the pocket clip. The Böhler M390 stainless steel alloy blade runs on ceramic bearings for a smooth action. Dual thumbstuds with dive watch grade glow-in-the-dark inlays deploys the blade quickly and decisively. Rounding out this Invictus-IBL are the G10 scales which are perfectly matched to the handle. No flashy, big logos or graphics or marks, just a subtle logo laser etched on to the pocket clip. For those who adhere to the philosophy of form follows function, find beauty in finely made, useful tools, and demand precision made mechanical objects, the Invictus-IBL is made for you. Due to the complex, lengthy production process, the extra hand finishing work and associated costs required in the making of this particular variation of the Invictus folder, it is unlikely we will run this version again. This was a labor of love, perseverance and patience over 6 years to see this through to its final, satisfying conclusion. We hope those of you who choose to own this folder will appreciate the time and effort in its creation, and confidently enjoy the results. |

Mix dry ingredients, cut in butter, add 3/4 cup milk or buttermilk, mix just until combined, dump on counter, scoop it all together and flatten into a rough rectangle by hand. Fold in half, flatten fold, flatten, about six times. Cut rounds, bake at 425 until golden brown. |

I've done the grater and food processor with frozen, and the pastry cutter with cold but not frozen. The only one I didn't like was the food processor one. Came out tough. |

I've never gotten into baking at all so I'm going to have to give it a go. View Quote That's a cool looking knife, I like the milling on the scale and the blade shape is classic. I've seen a few recipes that leave out the folding, just flatten out once and cut. I may try that next time just to see, but I suspect that won't get the layered effect as much. |

LOL, no, now the Para 3 is clipped at the ends.
I "helped" you decide on a Para 3? That doesn't sound like me...I love blurple though. I do like this shot because it shows the size of the TRE. sywagon's shots of it are usually stand alone so no point of reference. Much appreciated. ETA: I swear it said Para 3, looks like it says Para 2 on review. If that is a Para 2, TRE longer than I was envisioning. Makes more sense I would recommend a Para 2 over a 3 though. |
