If you consider that 270 EC votes are needed it doesn’t look promising.

These are locks for a D vote:
California- 55
New York - 29
New Jersey- 14
Oregon- 7
Washington- 12
Illinois- 20
Mass- 11
Conn- 7
Hawaii- 4
Maine- 4
NH- 4
RI- 4
Delaware- 3
D.C- 3
Vermont- 3

That gives the D candidate 180 EC before the first vote is event counted.

Pick up
Michigan- 16
Ohio- 18
Virginia- 13
Pennslyvania- 20
Florida- 29
Nevada- 6

That’s another 102 for an easy win for campaigning in just six states.

combined with fraud

they have a pretty decent chance of winning depending how insane and far left they go campaigning

I am glad I have no kids. This will be the beginning of the end.
Nov 2020 will see the right engine die, the left one is already on fire, and this country will begin the final spin into the ground.
I have a bad feeling about the upcoming election.

Trump was a perfect storm, I doubt it will happen again.

Lets say Trump pulls off 2020, that will likely be the last time a R holds office. The demographic shift, voter ignorance, and overall political direction this country is headed will make sure of it.

This. Kerry and the dems tried to get Trump into a war with Iran to ruin his election chances, and when that didnt work, at least so far, they will try and tank the economy. Since the economy is a confidence game the media piling on it can be a self fulfilling prophecy.

It's a coin flip.  As noted, the leftists have done well in state-level elections, with even fucking Beto barely losing in Texas this last go-'round.  I'm glad he's set his aspirations on president, as I don't think Cornyn would prevail in that contest.

It'll come down to a handful of things:
1 - Folks in the middle rejecting what the leftist candidates are selling.  The louder they scream for the extremes, the more they will turn off people.  Will it be enough?  Or are there enough people now that believe in the extremes?
2 - His supporters getting turned off.  He keeps poking the 2A crowd in the eye.  The door the bump stock crap opened, his comments on suppressors, no other "positive" movement forward on this front.  People will just stay home.  Yes, the leftists are pushing things that are far worse, but there's also a growing sentiment of "fuck it, let's get it started".
3 - Economy staying good.  Things are good, it's harder to sell the socialism-is-great, free-shit-for-everyone story.  People lose their jobs, we go back to the bullshit companies were doing in 2008 with hiring, you'll get more support for the crazy stuff.

I think he could improve his chances with a few nuanced positions but it would require the leftists in office to support them, which they wont.  If nothing else, putting the positions out there, selling on them, then painting the dems as blockers might move the needle a bit too:
1 - Reasoned steps towards cleaning up the mess that is spiraling increases in college costs and the resulting student debt balloon.  There needs to be a going-foward solution coupled with something for those currently burdened with it.  No, forgiveness of everything isn't the solution, but bankrupting everyone over it isn't either.  Ending gov backed/insured loans, consolidation/interest changes to existing, tax deduction changes for payments?
2 - Legalization of MJ.  We keep hearing people in power harping on the (manufactured) opioid crisis, so here's an alternative that doesn't involve people making meth, doing heroin, or stealing shit to buy opioids.  If you don't like it, don't do it.  But folks have heard enough anecdotal stories of their Aunt Ruth trying these magical gummy bears and her arthritis got better that it is an easy net positive among younger voters.
3 - Approaches to reign in health care costs.  Need to be something more than "repeal Obamacare" because things were sucking before, health insurance is a toxic industry.  "Selling across state lines" is a false start too.  Single payer is bad, gov run is bad.  HSA/FSA accounts don't help fix the root issue, they just provide a bucket of money to throw at the problem.  How do you encourage conscious consumers with fair and transparent pricing?

This.  Incumbency is an advantage; most presidents who run for re-election win.  But it's not a sure thing.  And remember that while Hillary didn't win the electoral college, if just a few tens of thousands of voters in a couple states had changed their mind, she would've won.

I don't subscribe to the notion that Trump has it in the bag....

The deep state is against him, the public left is growing, his illegal immigration policy is shit so people are mad he's not doing what they wanted.

Gun owners are mad because of bumpstocks and they don't fully trust him like they did in 2016...

He endorsed Thom Tillis in NC, who is the swamp made flesh. I will never vote for Tillis so Trump has basically pissed that race away....

If I was you folks, I'd skip the 401k and invest in ammunition and dried foods.

Civil war is coming and it will be ugly.

Best case is Trump using AC-130's to blast Invaders at the border and restarting internment camps for the leftists who disagree... But he's too cowardly to do this.

It will be ugly beyond anything you have ever seen and that's if we are lucky....

I think it ultimately depends on who the Democrats pick for their candidate.  Someone who resonates with the blue collar working class in states that Trump won in 2016 like Pennsylvania and Ohio could do Trump in.

Biden scares me.  I worry he will swing just enough blue collar working class votes in the rust belt states to beat Trump.

We'll see what happens.  Hopefully Trump will win. At this point its too early to tell.

Yes, just have Booker or Castro speak Spanish 24/7. The dems will still vote for them and every person who has any Spanish blood will cheer it and vote for them to put them over the top.

The Deep State goes all the way to the Federal Reserve and Treasury.

I am expecting some out-of-nowhere "financial crisis" around august or so of 20 that will cause the stock market to do a replay of 08-09, and take away Trump's ability to campaign on a strong economy and fat 401ks.

That will be just one of the many filthy stunts that the DS and Left will pull next year.

I'm also expecting some action by the U.S. that Trump didn't authorize that forces military action with Iran or some other country with an "oops" bombing of civilians. Dead kids all over CNN.

I fully expect next year to be one of the craziest and most dangerous times this country has seen. The Left and Globalists are going to pull every trick out of the bag to ensure Trump loses.

Trump won a lot due to social media and alternative media. The left will try to clamp down on that as much as possible, in addition to going all-out on the ballot harvesting. In a fair race there’s no way Trump would lose. But in reality he probably needs a huge lead just to break even. So it’s not a lock.

I think he has a very steep uphill battle to win based on what I am seeing. I know the pollsters were wrong but can anyone deny that most "swing" states continue to get more blue? Virginia was practically a purple state less than a decade ago and is now a solid blue and getting ready to start losing state-level seats to indicate the same.

Schools are educating most young people to be liberal. Incoming voters are increasingly representative of a liberal electorate and these 20-30 years old don't care about the economy (and/or look at charts that make them conclude it's really Obama's economy anyway). Most people under 30 dont even invest in a 401K. They care far more about LGBTQ and abortion rights than a couple percentage points of unemployment rates. For some reason they think Trump is a vicious anti LGBT person. With slightly more valid reason they think he's a minority hater.

I don't think Voter Fraud will win Dems the election and we would be sore losers to say it was the reason. I think voting on feelings, and rabid hatred of the Right, is what will win the election.

I can tell it's over when people blame Trump and not SANCTUARY CITIES for people literally drowning in the river trying to get here. If they weren't going to be accepted and weren't going to be allowed to stay for years, they wouldn't be drowning in the river. I pray for the souls of the Mexicans and other nationals who are trying to cross and I pray for their health and safety. Building a wall and establishing a process by which they come in here via a safe means and have a right to gainful employment is the way we stop them from drowning in the river, becoming parts of illegal sex trade for coyotes, and thirsting to death in deserts.
