Also, does anyone know if Griffin gloated when Trump got banned? Would be great for some spicy memes. |

View Quote Thats what F You money looks like, and it's glorious to watch from the sidelines. Imagine had someone 20 years ago told you that in 2022, an "on the spectrum" billionaire would buy an Internet platform for $44 billion, where people paid up to $15k to get a blue checkmark beside their name on the screen. (And oh yeah, this on the spectrum billionaire had also started a company that was putting satellites into earth's low orbit for internet, with rockets that are reusable, and land themselves back on earth.) Then said billionaire lowered the price to $8 for the oh-so-sought after blue check mark, and the internet lost it's mind, and people were really angry about it. The truth really is stranger than fiction. |

why wouldn't they continue to pay $100 a year to continue to spread misinformation? |

View Quote Because admitting they paid $15k for it would be an embarrassment so in efforts to try to keep up appearances that the check mark was totally only given to legitimate people through legitimate verification processes they are now complaining how unfair it is to have to publicly pay for it. |
