I have seven 22 LR pistols and my favorite is the Buckmark. It's just pure cheap fun!

Went to buy a Mk IV last week and came home with a Buckmark.  I would have been  right and happy either way.  Same for you.

Is your integral a Gemtech Oasis? If so, I also have one and Gemtech will upgrade it to a user serviceable system with an Outback monocore. It’s pretty great.

The P22 is one of, if not the BIGGEST piece of junk in existence.  So whatever you do, don't go that route.  They are worse than a jennings by a large margin.  If someone recommends a P22, don't listen to a single word that they say in the future.

I bought a Ruger SR22 for the ex, as a segway into shooting. Unbelievably reliable with any bulk 22LR. I sold it after we split, missed it and went looking for another. This was around the time the Walther PPQ22 was released. I was on the fence, but a few good reviews and I took a chance. It is manufactured by Walther, NOT Umarex. It has been GREAT. As good as my SR22. Eats everything, and the ergonomics mimic it's bigger brothers.

I'm happy with my Buck Mark.

I'd like to get one of the higher end Hammerli or the like but don't have the time to invest in research so for now it's the one.

Everyone who has shot my Buck Mark has come away with a smile so if I get something else, it'll be something that is the perfect fit for me and that takes time to find.

I dub you a 1%er, because 99% of people, including myself and EVERYONE I know that has had one, has not had the same experience.  Calling a P22 FUCKING JUNK is an understatement.

Walther makes some damn fine pistols,  but the P22 ain't one of them and they would be smart to make the manufacturer remove their name/licensing.

Mine has been fine for who knows how many bricks of cheap ammo.

There was a guy on another forum that had an estimated 200,000 rounds through his when the slide cracked. He replaced it and kept shooting it.

I think they are fun little things. and it will eat golden bullets all day long.

Im a 1% too I guess. A couple thousand rounds through mine. Golden bullets included. Works fine.

Fresh back from the recall, or upgrade, whatever.  Rail off, Venom on.

I have since added a Halo.  Not a fan of how it looks, but it transforms the pistol.

I have one of those in .32 ACP. My mom bought it for my dad in 1964 as a back up Gun when he was in the highway patrol. I inherited it when he passed away. One of my favorite guns.

I used to have a S&W 2206 that I had to sell years ago. I know it has a bad rap, but I never had any problems with it. If I could find one NIB or a good deal on a good/great condition one I'd seriously consider picking it up.

okay so I am talking out of my butt here, and I don't own 22 lr anything. but. you should totally buy the USFA zip 22 pistol. then, you under barrel mount it to your glock 17. that way, you can cover yourself during a mag change. or you can shoot 2 ammos with one pistol. if it works, please post back here.

I have an old as heck Ruger MkII "field" model. 4.5" standard barrel with  basic sights. Accurate, reliable and simple to operate. It's a fantastic gun and sees a ton of use when teaching new shooters safe weapon handling and basic handgun marksmanship. I've very, very happy with it.

Put me on ignore, then.
My buddy bought one since he's tired of shooting mine. Several hundred? Several thousand? rounds later and it's always a crowd favorite at shoots.
