There are a number of reasons why a package needs to be hand delivered, even if you have pick up. Happens occasionally with my business. A shipping manager conspiring with a UPS driver, which included the forethought to drop the package at FedEx first, to heist a single lower is a more plausible scenario to you? |

Finally saw a video on this. Looks like GBRS and the PD really screwed the pooch. The icing on the cake was the last bit of bodycam footage between the cop and GBRS saying he will write the report to remove any blame to them. If that doesn’t reek of conspiracy to cover up this incident, I don’t know what else would.

So, they claim the lower magically reappeared as soon as James was hauled away, and they're using that as evidence James was shady?
How very Democratic of them.  I was thinking it was evidence that salt and pepper beard pulled it out of a drawer as soon as James was gone. For it to be evidence against James, James would have had to contact a partner in crime and get the (still boxed up for shipping) lower returned in minutes. Unfortunately for salt&pepper and his lying employers, James is on cop cam the whole ten minutes and I have yet to see video of him contacting anybody. The remaining question is, did S&P call the cops immediately to tell them he "recovered" the lower and they held James for four more hours, or did he sit on the info for four hours and the cops brought James back as soon as they found out, or some combination of both? |

Their lawyer told me on the phone it was delivered after the cops left and that they thought it was suspicious that the employee gets arrested and then boom the UPS guy brings it. I also would like to see proof that this happened. I'm not saying the lawyer lied about it, but somebody down the line may have. I also haven't seen video of James leaving with anything. I still haven't gotten a copy of the police report either. This video is well past 1 mill views now, and almost hit that on twitter. Had I known, I would have spent a little more time on it, lol. |

Having worked for years in and around gun stores I don’t agree that a single instance of that is worth firing but that’s not the problem here. The problem is that they wanted him arrested without having the whole story. There were better ways to handle it. They could have instantly sent a new lower to the customer and done an internal investigation. Fire away for all I care but starting a process that involves me getting shackled at work in front of my coworkers and possibly friends is going to be an instant escalation to war in my eyes. |
