Mexicali dip is the bomb. Especially with the street corn chips

Raw marinated carnitas or raw marinated bbq in the meat section is excellent. Many threads on arfcom about these meat packages. If you have a ninja foodi pressure cooker or crock pot these are excellent.

They are the only grocery store near me that carries chicken breasts on the bone for grilling. I eat them at least once or twice a week. It just tastes better than boneless/skinless breast meat, to me.

The sparkling water is good. I like the key lime and also the peach flavor.
The eggs are good quality. So is the bacon |

Quoted: The one by me sells steelhead trout fillets. If you like salmon you'll like it. I like it better than a lot of salmon I've had. Lemon pepper, wrap in parchment paper, cook on a cast iron skillet to 160. The parchment keeps the moisture in and your house doesn't smell as much like fish. View Quote Makes sense. Steelhead is just rainbow trout that have become able to be in the sea for part of their lives. Once they are big enough they go from eating whatever drifts by in the river they spawned in to eating ocean swimming eating fish and swimming long long distances. |

Great stuff though, and probably fun if you have kids. I like that the pitcher was included, I still use the pitcher for pouring pancakes and for watering my smaller indoor plants. Multi purpose. |

I like their k-cups. The organic blend taste like beer hops and coffee. Pretty good

I don't think I have ever bought more than 5 items at a time at Aldi's.
Usually ... Pork carnitas Salad mix Eggs and/or liquid eggs BB Ribs Looks like that may change tomorrow ... Attached File |

Quoted: A few years ago they were selling generators. View Quote I bought 2x 2kw inverter generators at Aldi on clearance when they had them for $100 each. With a parallel kit, 30 amp cord with bridged hots, and inlet to my panel they'll run my entire house except for central A/C. Picked up several for friends and family at that price too. |

In 2013 they got a batch of it for their frozen lasagna from a supplier in France. They pulled it. France, canada, and many other countries eat it. It was miss labeled.

Their half-sour whole pickles in the refrigerated deli section are about the crispest, tastiest pickle I can get locally. I don’t know if they’re actually fermented, but if not, it’s as close as I’ve seen without being the real thing. More brine and less vinegar flavor.
As an aside, Jimmy Johns used to have an excellent pickle, but they’ve changed their supplier and now it’s a mushy, overly vinegar’d mess. |

Quoted: Their cans of diced fire-roasted tomatoes are great - better than Hunt’s and less expensive. I like their fresh kosher dill pickles (in the refrigerated foods case). View Quote Those tomatoes make the best homemade salsa. TBH, it’s even better than what I make with my fresh from the garden tomatoes. |

Put a BBQ pork shoulder roast in the crock pot on high at eight this morning, and it was fall-apart tender and delicious by lunch. Shredded, tossed in some BBQ sauce, and served it up on their brioche burger buns. Thanks ALDI!

Damn. Y'all must have some Aldi superstores. The one by me is smaller than most convenience stores.

Dry Italian salami in 16 ounce packs. Also the spicy dry salami, which is well seasoned but not hot.
Appleton farms roll sausage, cooks up like Jimmy Dean sausage at a better price. Sparkling lemonade in 750 ml flip top bottles for $2.99. Good lemonade, and the bottles get reused for secondary purposes like for home brew beer. https://aldithings.com/natures-nurture-sparkling-french-lemonade/ |

Do they have stroopwafels regularly?

I've gone to our local one I have to say I'm not too impressed almost seems like a dollar store grocery store. Didn't recognize one brand in the prices weren't any better than Kroger

My local Aldi has Envy apples the size of softballs. One apple is a meal in itself.

Take eggs, Aldi .89 Kroger 1.29 and that is about the difference in price in most other things. |

I picked up an inflatable mattress. It’s actually two separate “single” mattresses that you can connect with plastic clips to make a double, or an extra tall single. Inflatable pillows attach with Velcro, comes with an air pump, patches, storage bag. For $29.99.

The Irish cheeses, specially the “vintage” variety is very good. That being said I don’t know how competitively they are priced.

Stocked up on organic USA chicken BSB for $2.50 per # yesterday at ALDI
