TLR6 on a P365 in a Vedder Light tuck.

If you shoot enough illumination flares into a wooden structure, you definitely need a bright WML to search fir survivas.

?Wait, what was the question...

I don't see why not.  It clamps on the rail.

I prefer to keep my CCW as light and compact as possible. I get that a WML has benifits but if it's too heavy I won't carry it.

For those that have one, does the newest gen Inforce APLc suffer from battery drain like the old ones?

I don't know what gen mine is, but it has a battery drain issue.

I really like the design of the light, but because of this I wouldn't recommend it.

first gun i bought (g19 gen4), i put a streamlight tlr-1 hl on it. i sold it along with the g19 a couple years ago.

i'll probably wind up with another glock one of these days. and i'm sure i'll put a light on it. but i may put something more streamlined/smaller than a tlr-1.

I guess I'm the odd man out.  I have a green laser on my EDC pistol. It's bright enough to light up my surroundings at night.

Nope.  It significantly bulks up the holster (sucks if you carry iwb), and I’ve had a lot of trigger time using the Harries Method.

I had quite a bit of time operating manual crank windows, too.

Now, all my vehicles have power windows.

I've been using TLR-1s and X300s for about 10 years now.  My only complaint is that the switches sometimes snag clothing.  I'm thinking about filing them down.  I'm not a midget, so I don't need a paddle sticking back.

P320 w/ TLR-7 Is my primary but any handgun that I even remotely may carry has a WML.  Years ago I could care less if my handgun had  a WML, then I tried clearing a house with a handheld light and pistol.  Its really slow and clumsy opening/checking doors with a pistol in one hand and a light in the other.  Plus its nice having a free hand for those things that Mr Murphy likes to throw at you.

I do too and it sucks. TLR-6/XC1 mitigate (but don't entirely eliminate) the extra bulk/weight issues.  Scores on the night qual range always favor the people running a light.  WML all the things (carry a handheld too).

My LE handgun instructor class had a considerable laugh at the guys without WMLs attempting to load flashlights into empty magwells when under stress.

Sig P365 with a TLR-6 for everyday,  S&W M&P Compact at times that I’m trying to decide if I stick with the APL or triple the lumen output and get the Olight PL-2 Valkyrie.

I kinda agree, however, if you pulled your gun you already seen something you didn't need a light for.

For me, the WML is mainly for after the event. I can use it for illumination and use my other hand to call 911. That said, I have not taken a low light course so I couldn't be completely wrong. I carry a separate edc light though.

I carry the same setup as @Seven-Shooter does. 7+1 on the gun and another 8 round mag in a Neomag.

All of my guns have lights.  Been carrying a 19 with a TLR-1 HL for like 6 years now.

Carried a Shield with a TLR-6 for a bit, but that got sold when I went with a RDS on my pistols.

TLR-1 HL is a great weapon light. They can be had for under $100 shipped on the black Friday and cyber Monday sales. If you want less lumens for more money buy a surefire. IMHO the streamlight TLR-1 HL is the best weapon light on the market right now and it has nothing to do with price.

have a TLR-7 on my Glock 32 using a Werkz IWB holster or Raven Perun OWB holster.
I always have a small handheld light on me as well.

I have a spare TLR-7 sitting around waiting for my Staccato P to come in.

since everyone else is adding pics ...

I have a WML on my EDC because there is not a lot of street lights or ambient light in a lot of places out here in bumfuck nowhere farm country so yeah if I have to shoot someone I might have to do it when its dark.

M&P 9c with TLR-4 light/laser

Might upgrade to a TLR-7 and a new holster

I have a WML on my 2 carry guns. A G48 w/ TLR6, and a G19 w/TLR1HL. Depending on what I wearing, were I'm going decides the gun. I alao carry a decent handheld flashlight. One can substitute for the other if the need arrises.
It's my opinion that you should have at least one light.  A handheld and WML is ideal, but a handheld at a bare minimum.

I leave the house before dawn, many times home after dark, especially in the winter, so I prefer it, even though I carry a pocket flashlight as well.  I see no reason not to.  I’ve noticed to hinderance to my carrying by adding the light.

Streamlight tlr-1s. 3 just stopped working while shooting with them. The company replaced them no problem. Same with the cracked tlr6 housing.

I carried an x300 for years but I cant get over the added bulk anymore even though I realize I should 100% carry a wml. Currently I just roll with a g19 in a phlster skeleton holster and a surefire handheld ,or an LCR in a pocket holster with a surefire handheld.

EDIT: Can confirm with those above TLR1 stopped working after 3kish rounds on gen 1 m&p 9mm. TLR6 battery door ripped off in unobstructed trex arms holster. inforce wml melted/bubbled/cracked then fell apart but it always drained batteries before that.

No real reason not to. I run an Insight APL because that's what I'm currently committed to with holsters etc.. Will eventually switch over to Surefire I think, but for now I am ok with the APL.

I have a TLR6 on my 48 and a x300 on my 34.5.

The 48 makes holster selection tougher but isn't a world changing thing.  The x300 my my 34 though requires enormous holsters and no way I'm gonna AIWB those things and be comfy all day
