One thing, I think -is I can do abt 25% more reps of lifting the tire and wheel asm. I shocked myself with 26 times last week. Pretty easy. Since then the number has steadily gone down, 18 yesterday. I did goof up [? ] and took Arimidex too closely once abt that time. I'll have to look at my notes for a correlation. I keep notes at 3 locations so it's hard to keep track sometimes... |

I will be heading to:
http://lowtstl.com/ In about 7 hours. I cancelled my appointment with the gal who was my endo like two or three years ago. Back then, she did actually prescribe test cyp for me which I was injecting at home. That was back when I had insurance through the carpenters union. Worked dried up and my insurance went bye bye. She had switched to a different hospital (system). Plus, I suspect that if I saw her today, and she ordered blood tests, that the blood test results would be back within a week, BUT I still wouldn't be able to get in to see her for another six months. So I decided to go through LowTstl.com . When I talked to them on the phone, I did ask about treatment options. The receptionist did mention that they would want me to show back up to their office once a week or every two weeks so that they could inject me. I am going to try to talk them out of that today, when I see them. Driving to the west county area of St. Louis every other week is gonna suck. EDITED TO ADD: it will be so nice to once again have the mental clarity or sharpness that had a few years ago when I was injecting myself with test cyp. Any other advice you all would like to give? |

Damn it. This newest set of labs came back with my T at 400 something (range of 250-1,000). My last lab was 285. So the endocrinologist won't treat at my current level. Regardless of my symptoms... That's two docs that won't talk to me about treatment. Just one that that was willing. But he wanted to do a once a month injection... This shit is getting old.

So the one gal who went over my paperwork/forms was like "What's that?" I told her, and she asked, "Do you remember what your dosage was?" To that, I said, "Well, I was prescribed a half a mil every two weeks." Her: "Nope, nope, no. That was wrong." Me: "Yeah, I know. That's why I actually dosed half a mil every week." Her: "Good!" Then I kind of drew out a sine curve for her. Her: "yep, exactly. The body like metabolizes the testosterone shot over the course of the week. So we make it a point to get you in here every seven days to even things out. And to get rid of the high highs and low lows. Were you on an estrogen blocker? How often were you seen by this endo?" So, I walked away impressed. It does sound like they know what they are doing. Halle-feakin'-lujah! About time! |

Only thing I can find that is different between the labs taken five weeks apart is I've started taking D3, high doses of iodine, and zink. I was already taking Raw One men's health, Omega 3,6,9, and calcium/ magnesium during the first lab. The D3 is 4,000 UI. Iodine is a Now brand 325 kelp pill four days a week. Then a 12mg "triodine" from a health food store the other days. The 12mg of triodine is 8,333% of your daily needs of iodine. It was giving me stomach problems so I backed it off to just three days a week and the iodine kelp pills the other days. I'd have to look at the zink amount, but it's just the Now brand as well off of amazon. |

Hopefully they will email me the results like I asked the nurse to do and like she said she would. That way I have it if I have to shop a doctor, I'll know where I started at. |

Here's a plan Step 1 go to the doc with the once a month injection suck it up get on the T and take it for a month. Step 2 find a new doc different from all the rest. Tell new doc current doc only wants to do once a month and that's not working for me. Will you let me do at home injections weekly? Repeat step 2 until you succeed. In my experience once you're on T most don't question it. |

I am seriously considering starting a concierge T clinic. The only thing stopping me is the ability to write Rx's, anybody know a doc?

Click,
I was following the 5/3/1 thread and I can't remember who said it but they had a way to crash your testosterone levels so you can get a legal script for testosterone replacement. I hope to God you didn't follow that advice. Like I said, I can't remember who said it and I couldn't find it if I tried. But I do remember reading it and thinking how fucking retarded can they be... |

View Quote It really wouldn't be hard if you had access to some Test to inject for a month or so then come off of it and get blood work about 2 weeks after the last shot. But I would think a doc with half a brain would be able to see what was going on. Your LH and FSH numbers would be in the dirt and that should raise red flags. For the record I'm not recommending the above |

View Quote No sir. I didn't know that existed. All I did was not eat or drink anything but water from the night before like you are supposed to. Tested at 8:10 AM. I'd really like my energy back. I want to sleep well at night. I'd like to be able to hold an erection during the time it takes to put on a condom. I'd like to care about the things I used to like doing. I want to lose the 10 year old girls body type and put on some muscle (working out is not working out). It would be cool if I could grow a beard. Or even had a (1) chest hair. lol. I'd rather get accurate lab results to treat as needed. My T was higher this last test. Great! For a 55 year old guy. I went from having the T of a 90 year old dead guy, to an active 55 year old... And, I'm 32. I'd like to try treatment. If I feel better and it helps, we can go from there. If not, fine. I hate needles anyway. If my T for whatever weird reason keeps going up, I'll rule it out altogether. And look for another reason for my symptoms. But don't think I tried to crash my labs intentionally. I want to be healthy. Not to juice on T. |

This is not abnormal. Prescribing test is a touchy subject in the medical community. A LOT of the clinics you find will be run by shady organizations that use a semi-retired doc who isn't even on site to write scripts. These places are doing nothing but adding to the bad rap that low t treatment gets, but sadly they are the only or best option for some of us that can't afford a felony for just taking care of ourselves. A lot of guys have had t levels in excess of 1500 for all their adult lives and suddenly drop to 500 and feel like shit, they are getting fucked. A lot of guys that have never seen a t level of 600 are going in to get a shot because they can't deal with being middle aged.
I wish we'd just do like a lot of countries I've lived and and been to and let it be legal and a personal decision but in any case here is how you can crash t without doing anything illegal: -Do not sleep. You make that shit while you sleep. Insomnia and sleep apnea have been documented to absolutely destroy your t levels (btw, I'm now pretty sure my undiagnosed apnea did me in). -Go on a bender for a couple of days. Alcohol wipes out your natty t quickly. Smoke a bunch to really put the finishing touch on. I don't like the 2nd option at all, but it has been shown to work. |

You think if you stayed up 72 hours your T will drop? Yes, I am pretty sure that it falls rapidly after even one night without sleep. 2 nights and mine is(was) absolutely fucked. I used to have this fucked up cyclical deal with my apnea where I would go for a few days and then eventually pass out face down somewhere and sleep okay. I have a shitload of bloodwork that correlates very strongly to how much I'd slept, like 1500+ to 350 or so. Eventually it just went down into the 100's and stayed there though. I've heard many other guys say they've noticed the same thing. Plenty of guys on the popular steroid abuse sites have used the strategy with success too. The second option I have not verified personally, but know a few guys who have so I'm passing along 2nd hand info there. I'm not condoning any of it in general, but I realize there are guys with legit needs that some PC doc's just don't want deal with though... |

There is data that says long term actions like you describe can harm T levels, not quickly though in a healthy male. There would have to be other health issues contributing to low T for it to fall from drinking and lack of sleep. They did that study on 25 males in college , drinking heavily, lack of sleep from staying up days on end studying, no big drop in T. To get a healthy Males T down below the lowest normal range to fail a T test from drinking and sleep deprived is no east task, there are drugs that can do it but aside form drugs ? I don't think there are too may guys with natural T production at 1500 level by the way. |

ijust had a thought, that this issue I have may be due to the TestC shots im taking. at nightmy hands frequently go numb/tosleep, even while lying on my back. I cant rwemember if this started when my shots started though.
I remember something about these shots affecting your blood thickness. just curious? |

He was willing to start we'll see. I posted in here a couple of weeks ago a story about picking my mom up from the hospital and then going to the pharmacy to get her pain pills. I went to this small pharmacy, kinda like a mom and pop store. So as I am about to pass the hand written script to this like 70 plus year old pharmacist, I asked, "Let me get this straight: it is easier to get oxycontin than testosterone cypionate?" He looked at me right in the eyes and said "Yes, it sure is!". Then he took two steps over, reached up and grabbed a small box off an open shelf. That small box was something I recognized easily. It contained a vial of test cyp. For a split second, I had thoughts of just reaching across the counter and snatching it out of his hand, then just running out the door. I told him the run around I had been getting for years, and that when I finally did get a script for it, it was on a special DEA computer printer paper that I then had to hand carry to Walgreens. The endo couldn't just call in the script over the phone. So he was nice enough to go into his computer and he started rattling off a few local docs who had prescribed test cyp and then their patients came to that pharmacy to get it filled. So that would be my advice: go to some pharmacy, and politely ask if they have filled test cyp scripts, and which doctors wrote it. Take down their names, and then tactfully call those doctor offices. EDIT: just as a historical side note, I have been dealing with this since before 2004. I have seen two urologists, two endos, and my regular GP. One urologist had kielbasa like fingers. Yes, fingers. I didn't feel right for like 3 days after that. Having learned my lesson with the first uro, the second uro happened to be an oriental woman. The whole run around....It pisses me right the fuck off. EDIT#2: I don't know if you have seen the movie Limitless, but for me, that first and only vial of test cyp I went through, it was a lot like that. The mental clarity or sharpness I had was absolutely amazing. I had gumption, motivation, and ambition. Never was my house and truck cleaner. This was at a time when I was tinkering with fabricating steel targets on the side. I came up with ideas and drew up sketches of future target projects that might even be worth patenting. |

I would add, ask the pharmacist who also prescribes arimidex & HCG too? You find that doc and i think you got the right guy |
